Cajun Crab

Honestly, this a below average restaurant, based on solely on quality of food and that’s me being generous. But where the restaurant completely loses any ounce of credit to be considered a restaurant, is in their customer service (or lack of). The restaurant owner or management should strongly consider hiring a new set of staff that actually have some sort of customer service competence. First of, the server for my table told us that they were starting to close, the time was 9:30 maybe even 9:45. The store hours for Friday nights were displaying until 2 am. So for the sake of arguing I just asked for the checks right then and there and without hesitation the server pulls out of his pocket split checks. The server, really split up the checks before hand without asking us if or how we wanted to split the check. Then this server proceeds to ask for a pen back not even a minute after handing the checks to us to sign, just to hand what seems to be the only pen the server had to another table that he was also rushing out. What an embarrassment of an establishment, if one could even consider it to be one at this point

Gumbo was way too salty and the Jambalaya had too much tomato. The sides were just horrible! The snow crab legs with cajun seasoning were the best. We ordered the peach cobbler which was recommended but it was terrible. Tasted like store bought and the vanilla ice cream was freezer burnt. The website said they closed at 12am but the server stated that they slowed at 10pm. Nowhere in the restaurant does it mention the store hours. Would only return for the crab, nothing else.

Shrimp "boil bag" had no flavor and tasted bland. Pooh quality of sausage it was rubbery and tasted horrible....waiter was upset when asked to take back a dish that tasted horrible. Food over priced. Atmosphere was nice but vibe of the while place was off. Had 1waiter, that placed Spanish music that was not loud or appealing to a seafood place. Whole vibe off, needless to say this is 8 minutes from home and definitely will not be back.

Not at all what I expected. From the front door to the service.. the bar tender was rude at first then his demeanor changed to nice until I didn't like my food, back to the unfriendly customer service. Though he smiled even his people came thru the door. Sausage tasted like cheap weiner sausages ( not standard from what I've tasted from other cajun/crab restaurants). Service sucked and so did the food!!!
