Maacs Grill

I love this place. The people are great and the atmosphere is fantastic. You leave always with a few more friends then you start with. Honestly though the staff is great. My favorite is Taylor. She always remembers your face and favorite drink. She always makes you feel good when you get there and makes you never want to leave!! Go here and ask for her!!!

My brother and I love going to Maacs! Ask for Taylor, she makes the best margaritas around. She's always so welcoming and makes not only us but other customers feel special. I sometimes bring my daughter in, she loves Taylor, and says she makes the greatest strawberry lemonade. I love their wings and tater tots. Will definitely go back often.

This is one of the best dives in Dallas! It’s super low key and hella affordable. Krystiana (I know I’m spelling this correctly) was our server on a Saturday afternoon. She was literally the only employee out front besides the cooks. She was handling the bar and providing exceptional table service to our very large party of 16. There were also other customers in the building that she was attended too. She was amazing! Now for the food, my appetizer was queso with taco meat, it was very good and came out fast. For my entree I had the Philly cheesesteak meal with Cajun fries. Superb! Good drinks! Definitely recommend.

I've passed this place several times & didn't notice it. Found it on Google after searching for Philly Cheesesteaks near me. Sports enthusiasts would Love the atmosphere @ Maacs, food, drinks & sports all in one spot. Ordered a Philly & Fries online. They did not disappoint. 😋Would order online again.

I'm not sure what's happened to this place within the past 6 months to a year but it seems like it's going downhill. Last night we went in thinking they still had their half off boneless wings (they used to do 50 cent wings on Sundays and Mondays) but they no longer have that special. When I asked the waitress for that she was so unenthusiastic about it. It seems like her and the cook where the only ones there. It also seemed like she was way more excited to serve her regulars than anyone who just walked in. Mind you, we are not regulars but this isn't our first time there and she just so happened to serve us a couple of weeks ago. She just seemed like she didn't want to be there and wasn't excited to serve us. Upon walking in, I noticed a lot of tables were dirty, not with dishes but just like they hadn't been wiped down and crumbs were left so it was hard for us to find a comfortable place to sit. The wings were good but the garlic parmesan could've used more flavor/sauce. All in all it was a blah experience. I was so excited to get the boneless wing deal and it was a huge let down (I know inflation probably has something to do with this but it was the way she went about it). Not only that but service was subpar. I can understand that it is probably frustrating for one bartender to run the whole restaurant and patio but at least seem like you want to be at work. Unfortunately, this place has lost our business and for what it's worth, we'll be ordering from another wing place from now on. I'm giving 4 stars because I know this place has potential and my intention for this review was not to drag them down but to make the manager and others aware of their situation from a customer's point of view. I get that it is a bar/dive but cleanliness and more/friendlier staff goes a long way. I hope that you all consider hiring more staff!

I come to Maacs regularly and the food is phenomenal and the service is even better. Taylor and Alaria are rockstars! They are great bartenders and even better people to hang out with. Highly recommend Saturday Night Bingo at 9pm- always a great time! Great place to hang out, grab delicious food, and have a few drinks. Can't recommend enough!
