First time visiting here. Tiny yet nice bakery. I got soft garlic ($4) & uji matcha bread ($4.50). However, I gave 4 stars because of the matcha bread. I love match. I’m a match monster. When I took a bite, I taste a strong fragrance. Fragrance! I tried the garlic bread, it tasted like normal garlic bread and I liked it. I came back to matcha and ate the bread part only. It was fine. So sadly it was the matcha filling that had this fragrance. I wondered if a lady with perfume made the filling 😭 Or it could be its normal taste but not for me 😔

This is a nice little gem of a bakery. It is sort of typical of your average Asian bakery, but they do a bit more. We have tried several breads, and my favorite, by far, is the garlic bread. It sells out quickly, so get here early if you want that. They also do some unique snacks like a mochi cake sort of thing. Its pretty good. I didn't remember to follow directions, so the mochi was harder than I'd like. Next time, I will do as I'm told! So far, we haven't found anything we really don't like from Duke's. But, if it comes up, I'll update this review. Enjoy!
