I’m here for the taiyaki!! I love taiyaki!! It’s a plus that it’s very close by. I usually get this at little Tokyo and ever since we moved to the oc area things are getting so much better. We were greeted right away. A lot of signs of how to order your taiyaki with your favorite toppings and fillings. Everything about this place is on point. It’s so good. I’m definitely coming back her again. Highly recommend!

It was as a little different than experience. There js something called Taiyaki(Warm fish-shaped waffle filled with choice of filling. Fillings include custard, taro, red beans and more! ) and soft serve ice cream. Ah-Boong which is combination of soft serve ice cream and Taiyaki. Tried Salted caramel and Strawberry. May be need to try Matcha and Taro. Saw some people having both together. Need to try

"Not too sweet, perfect sweetness" is the quote on advertisements around Irvine Spectrum--advertising Somi Somi. And I have to agree! For those who don't like interesting flavors such as mocha and black sesame, I recommend getting Ube. You can get ice cream is a fish shaped cone and fill the edges of that cone with Nutella, Custard, or even Red Bean. The restaurant is definitely Asian, but has some other options that are less foreign to the average American palate. One of the best ice cream shops at spectrum, seeing success year round. Make sure you put your ice-cream-fish-cone inside a bowl, you're almost destined to spill the ice cream with no bowl.

First timer very interesting concept a waffle shaped like a fish called Taiyaki can ordered separately , on top of your soft ice cream and filled with custard or 6 other fillings .the line was long but moved quickly . When it’s your turn You can either use the kiosk to order or go to counter , the worker fill your order and then you go to pick up station . The fish waffle and ice cream both tasted great. The workers all were working hard . Very tasty

This place has got a fun name for sure. The ice cream is even more fun. And if you’re really feeling it, grab the ice cream in the fish waffle thingy bc it’s legit. They got some fun flavours and sprinkles. Great part about em is that they’re open late so you can sweeten that decaying sweet tooth of yours late at night. Def a spot to check out when you’re at the spectrum!

The fish cake waffles are amazing nice and crispy and goes nice with the ice cream You can order on the tablet up front It gets done pretty quick. Sat down for like 1 minute and it was done They'll ask what toppings on the ice cream There was no one at the time when we ordered but people arrive after we got our stuff Make sure not to miss it In-between shake shack. Kinda looks like a little alleyway There's some seats and tables to relax outside Definitely recommend
