Ruby Tuesday

My son and I went to lunch here when I was in the area picking up a Kohls order. Ruby Tuesday used to my favorite chain restaurant. I used to go almost the time in Lancaster, Pa until they had to close. Now that I live out this way, I was so happy to find this one. I absolutely love the salad bar (especially the pumpernickel croutons) however, the prices have gone up considerably to add the salad bar. You used to be able to swap the salad bar as one of your sides. This in particular location doesn't seem very clean. It needs a refresh. The carpet is nasty! The food is still excellent, at least the New Orleans Seafood is, that is my favorite. They don't seem to put much care in presentation, my plate was a mess.

3.5 stars. Our seating hostess and waiter promptly served my husband and me for lunch. We enjoyed the taste of the foods at the salad bar as well as our entrees of fish and chips and a chicken sandwich. I want to see the employees wearing their face masks properly rather than on their chins. Furthermore, my husband’s stomach felt slightly upset after the meal.

Sadly, this used to be my favorite restaurant. The last two visits though, have soured me to the restaurant. Last week, eating in, our baked potatoes were slathered in sour cream, despite being ordered without and the to go order we placed with our dine in order was never sent to the kitchen. Today, I called in an order. Before ordering, gave the coupon code to the person answering the phone and asked a specific question about the order and based on the server's reply - placed my order. When I arrived to pick it up, the bill was 16% higher than what it should have been. When questioned, the manager on duty said, the coupon couldn't be used. She apologized and said there was nothing she could do. I explained that I asked specifically when I placed the order and she responded that the server should have asked her before saying yes. I could have left the food, but not a fan of wasting, paid the higher price and left. Since when can a manager not make an order right? I guess you have to ask a manager when ordering because apparently the servers don't have the training - or support of their supervisors.

What is the HORRIBLE smell in this place? My husband and I were seated promptly and handed our menus to look over. We both could not believe the smell of old urine and maybe sour milk. We almost left because we could imagine eating with that smell. Unfortunately it was late and we were exhausted but after eating we regretted everything and should have went any where else. I had the salad bar which was nothing exciting rather bland and boring. My husband had a steak and potato with broccoli. It was mediocre at best. With all my heart and soul I truly don't know how they are still open with that odor. I brought my kids here about 5 years ago and it was like that then also. I was hoping it would have changed within the time....guess not.

Ribs was fall off the bone juicy crying that there wasnt more amazing. I want to go kiss the chef on the cheek awesome. Shrimp fondue is a must for a starter. The smoke house burger was cooked to perfection. The New Orleans seafood platter was just to die for. All flavors where on point going right through awesomeville. Kelly and her staff are very friendly food comes out just as you order it. It is a must to come too in Indiana Pa.

My wife and I, stopped at Tuesday's on Christmas eve, 24 December 2021. Ordered the the salad bar and were going to split the Triple Play @ $17.99, a combination of a half rack of classic barbecue ribs, Tuesday tenders and Louisiana fried shrimp with 2 sides (Fries & Tots). The half rack of classic barbecue ribs only had 1/2 of BBQ sauce, There were no Louisiana fried shrimp, Fries were luke warm and mushy, and tots were cold and the service was much to be desired. Yes, I understand it was Christmas eve, but to have service and food quality this poor is not excusable.
