Secunderabad Railway Station also called as Secunderabad Junction Railway Station which was built in 1870. This Railway Station is located in Hyderabad City, comes under the South Central Railway zone of Indian Railways,South Central Railway was formed on 2nd October, 1966 as the 9th zone of the Indian Railways. In its forty plus years of committed service and path breaking progress, South Central Railway has grown to a modern system of mass transportation fulfilling the aspirations of the passengers/customers and carved a niche for itself in Indian Railways system. Strategically positioned in the southern peninsula, this dynamic organization with its headquarters at Secunderabad serves the economically vibrant state of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Parts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. From the days of steam hauled locomotives and wooden plank seats, South Central Railway has come a long way modernizing its system with the state of the art high powered Diesel and Electric Locomotives, high speed telescopic Passenger Coaches, and higher axle load wagons, higher capacity track in all important routes, multiple aspect color light signaling with solid state inter locking, and micro wave & digital communication system etc.

The Secunderabad railway station is one of the historical railway station of south India. This railway station was part of Nizam of Hyderabad state during British India. It was nationalised in 1951. The building structure looks like a fort of Nizam. It's an urban area station of Hyderabad which is also part of South Central railway zone. It has 10 platforms and 11 tracks. This train station has a daily capacity of 170000 passenger volume. Now it's a major hub of transportation due to coming of Hyderabad metro station and Hyderabad multi-modal transport system alongside existing bus, taxi and car station side by side. As Hyderabad is growing so is this station growing old and gold with every passing of time. One of the biggest railway station of south India and no. 1 of Telangana state. This station is following very severally swachh Bharat mission to clean up the station premises which won my heart during my visit to the city. One of the biggest railway station in Telangana. Crowded with people 24 hours.Clean station. One of the busiest stations in South India Railway Network. Connecting to the capital and other cities with clean and comfortable trains both general and AC. One thing not good is the pavement. It's less save. The train timings and platforms are shown correctly. The general restrooms are not clean and tidy. The elevator are not present at all platforms. Apart from that this is a great station. Reservations for some ac trains are available instantly at the booking counter. ATVM's are also available near booking counter.

KFC food tastes yummy all across stores. its the in-store experience which makes it even better. This store is a famous one in this main road. Ambience is good for family... Great chicken. Weekends is a rush, so are nights on weekdays. Post 10 it's emptier. Food is great, staff is polite and quick. Good for outing with friends and family and birthdays.
