Harwood Cafe

Let’s start with what was good in this place. Staff are nice and caring. The restaurant was clean and they attended us a few times. The food quality was minimal compare to competition. To choices of omelette were not many as you can see in the pictures. No chixken or avocado were on the menu and overall taste... not so great. I don’t mean to be negative, but you get better food quality in other cafes.

Came in after daughter early soccer game as it was new in the neighborhood. Daughter ordered kids egg, bacon & toast and everything came out as it should except the toast. We had to request it three times there are lots of things you can mess up on but forgetting kids toast that gets you a ding. Wife ordered the breakfast combo two eggs, four strips crispy bacon, biscuit w/gravy, fried cube taters& pancake lots of food but aside from the bacon & biscuit everything lacked flavor it looked so promising but it was only so-so. The gravy was really disappointing just a liitle sausage or even just the grease from the sausage could have made world of difference. I was tossed between the breakfast scramble & club sandwich. I went with the club it had turkey, ham, lettuce, tomatoes & some pieces of bacon actually swiped some of my wife's bacon to add to my sandwich so that was a little dishardening. The bread was toasted just right & lettuce & tomato being fresh. It came with choice of chips, onion rings or french fries. I chose the fries if you like them soggy and limb then you will love them if not then go with the chips or try the onion rings. Now understand this place has only been open for couple weeks so maybe still working out some kinks. So we will give it a couple more weeks and give it a try again but not tomorrow.

I’ve eaten here many times and am always impressed. All their food, breakfast especially, is wonderful and satisfies that home-cooked craving. Each and every server is friendly, hustles in taking care of their guests and all work together. Along with the great food, they create such a comfortable atmosphere that will make you feel right at home.

Great breakfast or lunch place - my husband goes here multiple times a week. Prices are very good, and the food is definitely not bad at all. This had become our go-to home cooking place. My allergies restrict me from a good bit of their menu, but their bacon is on point. The Harwood Cafe is the mom and pop answer to IHOP or Waffle House - and they are good at it.

Harwood Cafe is just like homemade cooking. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We were a party of three and all three of us ordered a different dish. We compared notes and we're totally happy with what we ordered. The staff work well together i'd consider them a team rather than employees. The menu has a nice variety to choose from an the prices are very affordable! We will definitely be back and recommend their service to others.

Great New place for breakfast in a long abandoned location. The Cafe was clean and service was good. My wife had pancakes and coffee, both of which were excellent. In fact, the pancakes were some of the best we've had. The other dish was a country "scrambler" - open faced biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes. It was good, but I've had better elsewhere. All in all, we'll go back again as this is a great neighborhood Cafe. Looking forward to trying lunch and their Friday night fish fry.
