Used to come here for coffees. Haven't been in for a while but came in as they had space on a wet bank holiday Monday.
Four of us ordered from the breakfast menu. All very nice. We couldn't sit in the main restaurant area as it was full so we sat in the 'coffee shop'. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Reasonably priced

Visited on a quiet Sunday evening and had the sharing Beef Short Rib which was perfectly tender and fell off the bone. The potatoes were plentiful, the carrots and broccoli well cooked and the aioili and chicken jus were delicious. The staff were very friendly as well so I recommend trying it out.
There was a 50% off food deal running so we paid a lot less than normal.

Held a surprise birthday celebration in the upstairs area for 30 guests. The whole experience was faultless. Any request was dealt with effectively. The buffet options are great, the food was delicious and service was impeccable. All our guests were very impressed.
A huge thank you to all at HG for making it a great success and truly memorable evening.
Highly recommend this venue if you are looking to organise a function for a civilised private or professional business event.

Literally hosted my Mums 70th birthday party at Hixon Green this evening and wanted to write a review the minute I left.
I was honestly so overwhelmed by the incredible staff and service, the ability to go above and beyond to make sure all the stops were pulled off to make the day special.
A huge shout out to Leigh for his support from start to finish! Could not have done it without you.
If anyone is thinking of having a small celebration, baby shower or even an event launch - the upstairs hire is the perfect spot for it 🙌🏼❤️

I had my sister bridal shower at hixon green on the 4th of February 2024. Staff were amazing. They kept checking if everything was ok and if we needed anything. I rented the whole of upstairs. Best decision I’ve made to have my sister bridal shower there. We had an amazing view of the street and enough space to fit nearly 40 people. I was allowed to move the furniture to however I wanted it and decorate it all how I wanted. Honestly thank you all so much and also a big thank you to the chef for the delicious food x

Had some friends down to visit and we were looking for a brunch spot on a rainy Sunday (with no reservation no less - shame on us) but Hixon was very accommodating and offered us a table. Loved the variety on the menu, brunch with a twist in some cases. Had the pescatarian myself and looooooved the variety of fish! Definitely worth another visit at some point.

Lovely place! There was great music the whole time and lovely service! The menu was a bit limited for vegetarians but it might have been the time we arrived. Would definitely visit again!
