Becks Prime

Excellent food, I usually get their Robert's chicken and vegetables grilled veg is great, chicken is perfectly cooked. They have amazing burgers, too. They are not cheap, 2 people for lunch will cost you $50 but it is great properly cooked food and I am never disappointed. They are consistent across the 2 locations I eat at. The one on Kirby near my mom's house and the one by my work on August are both great! Food is exactly the same.

Who knew you could get a burger of this quality in a drive thru?!? I found this gem when I searched for "Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins" in the area. What a find! This was one of the best burgers I've ever had. I ordered the Blue Cheese burger and my husband ordered the bacon cheese burger with added mushrooms. And the ranch dressing on the side for the fries was the icing on the cake. This is the place to go!

Updated 15Nov2023: The Kirby renovation, while it took a looooong time, makes a positive difference. Atmosphere updated accordingly. ‐------------ I used to hold a grudge against Beck's because they supplanted Zeke's (so many years have gone by!), but I came around long, long ago. Beck's offers superior food & service in a clean, simple, & convenient location. Their burgers, deservedly, rank at the top in the state of Texas - year after year after year. Why? Because they really are that good.

This is by far one of my favorite places for burgers and fries, especially their sweet potato fries! I usually get my order to go, so I haven't been inside since the recent renovations. I CAN say, however, that the drive-through situation is much better now that they have added the additional window. The parking lot congestion and flow is 100% improved. I will say that this place is quite pricey compared to others, but the quality of the food that you get is superior, especially for drive-through food. It's hard for me to pass by without stopping for lunch or dinner. I have a friend who lives nearby who knows that any time I come to her place, I will have stopped to pick up Becks Prime on the way. The food always smells wonderful and tastes even better. I have never been disappointed.
