Fries were pretty good. I got a small and that’s exactly what came. Some places drown you in smalls but not Nicks.I got two Chile w Cheese dog. Admittedly the prices were good and probably in line w the quality of the food - don’t expect too much. Glad we did it. Want to improve? Use Blue Seal Dogs!!!

Your classic hot dog place. They've added some items over the years, but still have good dogs available with all the typical toppings. Fries are good and can be topped with cheese and/or chili. They also have a lot of flavors of soft serve ice cream available for dessert. It's been in business for 100 years. Worth a stop if you are in the area for a decent priced lunch.

This is my husband’s favorite Hot Dog place! He has been coming here for over 50 years! We were recently home after 1 1/2 year away and he couldn’t wait to stop in. Originally, this was just a hot dog stand.. but now you can get a bit more items like Mac and cheese, soup… the classic is Hot Dog with relish, mustard and onions. They are very good hot dogs!!!

Drawn by the "home made baked beans" sign my boyfriend and I walked in for dinner time. No one else was in line. 3 chili dogs, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and baked beans, With 2 large milkshakes and chili fries. The server was nice, she got our order out promptly. However, not happy with the consistency of the milkshake and the food orders, especially the price 40 dollars. It was very watery almost like a kindergarten made our milkshake and our cups were not filled all the way, it was about halfway. Its very upsetting to pay for drinks that are not filled all the way. Also, the chili dogs were soggy, the bun was not toasted. The hot dogs were sitting out for hours under a light. Also, the baked beans were NOT homemade. I dislike business that lie. It is astonishing that this place has been voted the best valley advocate since 2008. If the place is dusty and dirty in the front, I can only imagine how dirty it is in the back. That place needs a health inspection. I hope I don't get sick tonight.
