We've been to Rustic Kitchen in Hingham many times and are always happy with our choices. They food is excellent. We each ordered the butternut squash soup, which we've had before. Excellent. For dinner, we ordered both the haddock dinner and the scallops with mushroom risotto (my go-to), and both were great. The scallops were more tasty, but I'd eat each again.
The service is excellent, and we're VERY SAD they are closing for good on December 15, 2019 for good...

Rustic Kitchen is a hidden gem in the Derby Street shops ! We weren't sure if it was even open, until we approached the front doors.
Once inside, my wife and I were very pleasantly surprised by the charming decor, and friendly staff. Great, attentive servers, and a simple, rustic menu provided a wonderful meal. The Buffalo Cauliflower was delicious, as was our salad and pizza. Everything was cooked very well. We'll be back !

Indoor seating is super kozy. Decided to sit outside. Very comfortable. Service was great! Food was excellent. Have been here mutliple times. Always a favorite !

Hands DOWN👐🙌 FAVORITE RESTAURANT!!!!!! Great service and I love sitting outside and people watching when it's nice out!! The outside bar is great!!!! Brick oven pizza👊🍸🍕 and grape santinis!!!!!
I highly recommend the truffle fries and fish tacos!!!!! And chicken masala and chocolate cake! Basically everything.

The Italian food here is pretty good, and they always have great specials. The homemade pasta is delicious, but the pizza and calamari lacked a little flavor. The baked pasta dishes are also good, hearty meals.

Our nephew and his family took us here for dinner while we were visiting him in Boston. The food was good as and the service fine. The serving portions were quite large. I had the gnocchi, which was very fresh and tasty. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely, and we enjoyed the experience.

Wonderful food and good wine selection. We had a bottle of Malbec, good wine. In our party, there was a young parents with 2 kids. The staff were real nice with the kids. I will go back again, we enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. I saw people with mixed drinks, they look good and tasty. I think, I will try the mixed drinks next time.

Good food but boy do the prices add up. Try to limit the amount you order. Individually the prices are standard some high. Quality quite good though so perhaps worth it.

Cozy Kitchen is more like it. Skip the bar, and head straight to the main dining room. The ambiance is very cozy from the ceiling beams to the oven crackling in the back. Tried the risotto balls with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce, caesar salad with salmon in a Parmesan basket, and finished with the tagliatelle bolognese (my new favorite pasta dish). Everything was presented well and cooked with reserve (no oversaucing). I will be back soon
