Cowaburger

Thought I'd try since the reviews were great and they use fresh beef. I was very disappointed! The burger was lukewarm, the cheese looked like the cook just slapped in on, the mushrooms looked to be yesterday's (definitely NOT freshly grilled). I paid $6,.49 for just this burger. I was expecting something great! Won't be going back. (Two stars just to be nice, I should have given 0 stars)

Visiting the area and saw this on TripAdvisor and had to try. Went there at noon on a Wednesday and wasn't slammed on the inside. Drive through was doing a brisk business. Interior is small and somewhat eclectic. You seat yourself and two men are working the wood fired grill through the glass. One came out and took our drink order and food order. If you're looking for food fast, go someplace else. That's not to say it was slow. From drink order to food arrival was under 10 minutes. Now for the food. The fries truly are like fries you get at the fair. The burgers have a great flavor. You can tell they were cooked over wood. My wife got a regular cheese burger. I got the one with cheese, bacon and a fried egg. They were fantastic! Great flavor, not over done, not under done. Not too greasy but enough fat content to make a nice, juicy, flavorful burger. We're from Cincy and these burgers beat Terry's Turf Club, Patty Burger, Flipside, Five Guys or any other craft burger we've had. Stop. You won't be disappointed.
