Uncle Cheesecake

I took a friend here who hadn't been here before. When asked what the pink cake was we were told Drip Cake when obviously it wasn't. It had smooth icing not drip icing. It was actually a nicely iced cake with a cheesecake layer. More importantly, clerk broke and dropped 1/3 of icing on counter and still put that slice with missing icing in box without telling my friend who ordered the cake. When asked about the bad cut clerk replied .. "It always happens because cake is so heavy". No apology was offered and clerk resented having to cut a better slice for my friend. (Evidently it doesn't always happen)

Place could use to be cleaned up. It was pretty dirty. Trash can overflowing. Floor hadn’t been swept in awhile. Windows and display cases were rough. Not the best first impression and makes you start wondering if the kitchen area where your food is prepped looks similar. The cheesecake (OG) was good, but the employee had trouble remembering what many of the cupcake types were so that was a little disappointing as well.

Today was my 10yr wedding anniversary and we decided to leave the dessert portion of the night to Uncle Cheese Cake. When I tell you me and my wife have never had cheese cake this good in our life. I will not go to High Point NC and not stop by this establishment ever again. Amazing isn't a strong enough word to explain our experience... Thanks Unk, lol.
