Confession: I've lived in Hickory almost 3 years, and only about 1.5 miles away and I haven't been. I recently went for the first time and I'm overly impressed with the shop, coffee and service. I was expecting a Starbucks scene just because that's what many coffee establishments look like; modern with temporary. Just the opposite in here. It's very comfortable with couches, ottomans, lounge chairs and more. The coffee was made well. It was slightly bold, a little more that medium roast, and the right ratio of espresso, milk and syrup. As we've all likely experienced, sometimes too much of something is added and it dilutes the beverage too much. The vanilla chai tea latte was so good. It was made with a small splash of vanilla, great amount of espresso and the right amount of chai. So...it was nice because the beverage had a slight sweet then a great chai spice aftertaste. The avocado toast was freshly made on wheat bread. The bread was toasted to perfection and the avocado was dashed with a red pepper flakes. The cinnamon walnut cake was incredible. Was super moist and dense.

Copperbean Coffee House was a mixed bag. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing (5 stars) but the lattes (tried both vanilla then hazelnut) were well below par (1 star).

By far the best place in town! The shop uses real fruit for their smoothies! Unlike the national chain across the street, there is real fruit in their smoothies not artificial high fructose garbage! Also the espresso is genuine Italian roasted AA grade so the coffee, lattes and frappes are Awesome!

I love this coffee shop and have for years. It is a great place to go and relax or get some work done without distractions. On my last visit I ordered a hot coffee and was given an iced coffee. I was driving off when i realized the mistake. I on a hurry i did not go back to get it fixed but never having been a fan of iced coffee before, i drank the entire drink because it was so good. No hard feelings here.

Best Coffee shop I’ve been too in a long long time. Great Lattes and great smoothies! Actually real Lattes with Grade A espresso made by people who know how to make a great drink! Have tried other local shops, This place is by far the best out there!

Best Local Coffee shop by Far! Great Frappes, Coffee, Lattes and Smoothies! The negative reviews, most of them factious, from fired former employees or customers trying to scam a small business out of free stuff! If you order something that was made good and you just don't like it, that's your fault! Don't expect a free drink because you didn't order something you know you like! The girls that work here Do a Great Job!

I went here before work on a whim because Starbucks was incredibly busy and I thought "why not"? I pulled up around 7:35am, there was no line, the drive thru worker was extremely friendly (and beautiful I might say) got my large espresso specialty coffee for $4 and it is delicious. I'll probably never go to Starbucks again. More people should patronize this little place instead of paying for overpriced mediocre coffee. Will definitely be back!

This place is terrible. I bought 2 supreame frappes ...it was 11 bucks. It took a long time. I got strawberries and cream with an extra espresso shot and my husband got a pumpkin spice extra shot ...mine had no flavor AT ALL couldn't even taste the coffee!!! And huge chunks of ice in it. We took them back in a nicely asked if she could make me something else. She got all mad and dumped the same one I had already had my mouth on in the blender and put a huge scoop of powder stuff in it and blended it again and slammed it back on counter... very rude. Was my first time. That was an opportunity to gain a forever customer but no she got 2 never customers instead. NEVER AGAIN!!!
