Murckos Restaurant

My husband and I used to go there all of the time. The service is now getting very bad. There is no one to great you at the door. You end up standing for sometime before someone comes out of the back to seat you. The fish we had there was extremely salty. We told the waitress and she stated she would talk to the cook. We went back the very next day and it took a long time to be seated(there was no one in front of us waiting). We ordered our food and ended up getting it to go because we had waited so long. It is very sad, it used to be a very good restaurant with good food. For now we have decided not to go back for at least six months. We are hoping they will solve the issues that are affecting the service and food.

This restaurant was recommended by a coworker to visit while celebrating my birthday. So, my family & I dined there. There was 5 children and 5 adults. Our waitress Kory was very friendly and attentive. She treated us very well. As we we're leaving a customer told my brother to pull up his pants and called him the "n" word. I asked to speak to a manager immediately. He took his time to come out and I explained the situation to him. He totally disregarded me and stated " That's just how some people are"! So, I asked him is that how they all feel? I told the customer he should be ashamed of himself. And I will never bring my family there to dine again. If you are a minority or have family that are minority I would advise you not to visit this restaurant. You will also be discrimated against.

The food is fairly priced and compares well with other restaurant food of the Shenango Valley area. The menu includes Slovakian items which is a nice and unique feature. Our server was extremely friendly, considerate, and attentive. On a Friday evening when other restaurants in Sharon had wait times for a table, we were able to immediately get a table at Murcko's for food that was at least as good as what we would have gotten elsewhere. Highly recommended.

I am a frequent patron of Murcko's, both for the food, as well as the welcoming atmosphere typical of a family owned and run business. I particularly enjoy the monday night chicken wing special with their large list of homemade sauces. Add to this the talents of Suzi at the bar making the perfect margarita, and the company of other regulars, and you have a recipe for a great night out! I should add that I have ordered numerous items from the menu, and never been disappointed!

Food is OK if you don't mind waiting an hour to be served! We asked what the hold up was, come to find out our ticket wasn't turned into cook. After ANOTHER half hour I asked to speak to the manager. Owner didn't seem to care. Finally left. THIS HAPPENED NOT ONCE BUT TWICE! Beware if you choose to dine here...
