There was a large group of us that just dropped in for lunch one day. Our waitress was awesome! She was engaging, funny and took great care of us. If you are into architecture or just like old buildings you'll find yourself looking around at all the woodwork and fixtures. I would definitely recommend.

I did a carry out. 29 Jan 22 Once I received my order, I checked the order, only to find out my side salad was not added. Waitress, forgot to add. Honest mistake….. I ordered the mild chicken wings, they put only flats, ( no Drumettes) always get mix of each. I called back to express my dismay. Advised I would need to speak with the owner, (kadar) I went by restaurant, spoke to manager, was again told need to com back Monday to speak with manager (kadar). Manager on duty didn’t have authority to correct the issue. Did go by Monday, only to be advised that when I order again I’d get half price on another wing order. Wasn’t pleased with the resolve, I didn’t eat the wings, and returned them to the restaurant. (amid corvid, protocol) the best I could get was 6.00 for half the wing order. Disappointed that I had to return twice to resolve, and I spent a total of 38.00 on my initial order. I decided I’d not go there for service anymore, especially after the delayed minimal cus service. And being able to keep wings over the weekend, and the wings were brought back in the restaurant and left there. Good I wasn’t infected with the corvid virus. ….poor customer service.

What a pleasant surprise! Previous outstanding reviews led my wife and I to George's after a long day traveling to VA Beach. Reviews were spot-on. Amber was gracious, as well as entertaining and perfectly suited to represent the restaurant. I had the Beef Stroganoff and my wife had the Stromboli, both of which were superb and beyond compare. If you are from out of town, do yourself a favor and make George's your first choice! You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu.

Horrible Food and Poor Service Ordered George’s for my family tonight expecting a great meal. My three year old got the chicken tenders, spaghetti for my 9 yr old, and a chicken wrap and Cesar salad for myself. Upon opening the food I first noticed that my daughter’s chicken looked over cooked, next I opened my wrap. I’m not even sure if I can refer to it as a warp since all of the filling was outside of the wrap. Once I assembled the wrap and tried to eat it it noticed that the chicken was very dry and over cooked. My hope was that the chicken in my salad would be ok so that I would have something edible from my order but boy was I wrong. The meat was so dry I couldn’t even pick it up with my fork. I tried several times between 7:40-8:30 to call and speak with a manager to no avail. The phone would continue to ring until it hung up. I’m extremely disappointed not only because the food was horrible but also because of the fact that inflation has made it so that many people don’t have money to waste. I urge George’s to make an improvement on service and food quality so that others won’t have to feel as upset as my family was tonight.

A long-standing patron of George’s but was highly disappointed in the quality of my meal. Between burnt food and missing sides: I usually choose them over any other restaurant in Henderson because they normally have great food. Tonight not so much. I truly hope that someone in the kitchen stand by their new posted policy on pick up orders. I am hopeful that this was an off night understanding the strain with staff and Covid-19; but obviously this was food and money wasted for me!
