Make sure and go across street. Best view at a cool table on the beach. Fried oysters were my favorite

Great food truck on Hwy 83 at Punalu’u Beach. Shrimp was delicious! If you don’t like seafood they have chicken and steak. Super friendly!

Good food.. it came highly recommended. Has been on Food Network and other food show channels. It's located right on the highway next to Chings Grocery. Has a few tables available to eat at , or you can go across highway and eat on the beach.

This place is a must eat if your Hawaii. These gals work their tails off and put out an amazingly awesome best-tasting ahi shrimp popcorn shrimp butterfly shrimp but you can have in any top five star restaurants. I could cline this place and take it home

Hands down the best meal I have had here so far. The steak and coconut shrimp plate is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Plus the folks working the truck are friendly as could be. Do not pass this up!!

If you see this yellow shack on wheels do not hesitate to stop! It was hands down our favorite spot to dine in right on the beach literally! Across from the shrimp shack there’s shrimp shack dinning area where you can enjoy their delicious tasting shrimp! Try the Coconut Shrimp with Mango sauce and a Beer in hand you can pickup next door and as long you have it in a brown paper bag. Also the spicy garlic you gotta try it! Loved their dinning area across the street. Dinning area has maybe 3 tables but simply wait for someone to be dismissed or just eat right on the sandy beach under the palm trees!!!!! The staff was great and super cool so shoutout to them !

Delicious mussels, amazing shrimps and dinning tables right on the Ocean, that was a hidden gem at that visit, very kind waiter.
That food is on next level, if you are visiting Honolulu it’s must visit place !

We found Shrimp Shack while driving along the east coast and stopped by to try it. Best decision we made! The spicy garlic shrimp were fresh and delicious! It was so relaxing sitting by the beach enjoying our food. The service was amazing as well. I’d go back to Oahu just to enjoy this and come back.

I really enjoyed the Surf & Surf (mahi with caramelized onions and garlic shrimp). Both were delicious but I would have enjoyed the shrimp more if the mud veins had been removed. It gave me pause. Otherwise, the ladies were lovely and the outdoor dining was pleasant.

Tasty food in a convenient place on the beach when you're driving up along the east coast. The spicy garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp were tasty, but it was a little disappointing that we were given plastic forks instead of a more sustainable variety that will break down more easily and have a lower impact on the environment. It is easily wheelchair accessible (you'll need to be careful crossing the road after ordering to sit and eat at the tables on the beach) and located in a convenient spot.
