I have got to say this was the best stake I've ever had! It was done to perfection and the sauce it came with was amazing. My friend ordered the mussels and I have never liked mussels my whole life but she offered me to try one and to my amazement I actually liked it! I really liked it. I will be ordering the mussels next time I visit here. It is a bit expensive but with the offers they have on buying one meal and a starter for £13.95 it worked out well. You could also switch having a dessert instead of a starter which I did and got the strawberry cheese cake.

Pre-booked for dinner just now and every thing about Portals Place is phenomenal! Exceptional customer service even helping us to book a return taxi back home . Superb food from the baked crab to the sea bass and into the pistachio creme brulee. A crisp sancerre followed the white rabbit cocktail into the burrow beautifully! I wish to visit this classy venue again when I am next in the neighbourhood. Thank you Erin and Chanice. Perfection on a plate!

Hosted our wedding reception here in May 2023 in Abbey's bar, fabulous day enjoyed by everyone. The buffet was delicious and catered for all tastes. Prior to the wedding we had many requests and nothing was too much trouble for them. They opened up early and let us stay late, putting in a 12 hour shift! Highly recommend if you want a small private venue (30-35)people. Made our day very special. Thank you

5* Food was delicious. Can taste the flavour and the freshness. Parmo full of flavour and lovely crispy breadcrumb. Garlic dip punchy and full of flavour. Beef was tender and delicious. Kids carbonara really good portion and full of flavour. Deserts sticky toffee pudding and kids brownie delicious and generous portion size.
