The hotel is easy to access from traffic, the room is clean and nice. But $17 for parking? And No breakfast? Like other people said in the review, hotel plus parking, you can find a same nice hotel with free parking and free breakfast. And I can't find an easy access outlet near the beds, that's so inconvenient. I had no choice but to be booked into this hotel, otherwise I would definitely choose something more substantial.

Last night I arrived at the red Lion hotel in Hartford Connecticut at 5:30 p.m. until 2am because I didn't have a deposit. I don't see any of his policy and my reservation had already been paid for in full and there was nothing else to do. After forcing me to sit in the lobby. At 9 a.m. to start banging at the door. Now, since they have my $100 deposit that it took me all night to get I'm back sitting outside homeless and cold. On top of that I now have two 5 days to get my money back. Great. Please know I plan to post this to every social media sites that I can. After All that. The rooms were filthy and had a terrible smell. And the loudest air conditioner I've ever heard.

They charge $17 daily for parking in a creepy underground garage, so factor that into what you are spending on the room. The parking elevator was under construction. The bed was cheap, and I could feel every spring in the box. Every time my husband moved in bed, no matter how small, it felt like he was jumping on the bed. Carpet was stained in our room. (Yogurt? We hoped.) Tub was stained and rusty. (Barkeeper's Friend could remove that.) The walls were paper thin. We were glad that we only had reserved one night. We will not be returning on future visits.

This hotel is like most hotels except there is no coffee maker or mini fridge. I had a long stay and Greg (super helpful at front desk) mentioned I could get a fridge for staying for a long period. Still no fridge...after over a week of staying here and two times of asking front desk staff. I also placed a do not disturb sign on my door and yet my room was cleaned and my do not disturb sign was removed...avoid this hotel if you can! If you can’t have Greg help you out as he’s the man!! I have never reviewed anything in my life yet here I find myself reviewing this hotel.

Loving the brand, but this hotel still needs some love. Formerly Radisson, yet it still has that sense about it. Paying for self park, not a great selling point, yet I get it being downtown. This location is in the heart of Hartford and convenient to much be mindful of the highway. The overnight agent was very helpful and informative! Would definitely stay here again.
