I couldn’t have been happier... Very authentic! Brought my Portuguese mother here for her 90 birthday based on personal recommendations and the reviews. There were 11 in our party and we ordered family style. We had the codfish cakes, chourica sausage, and buffalo wings as appetizers. For the entrees we had the pork and clams, the steak with traditional seasoning, grilled chicken breasts with peppers and onions along with roasted potatoes and Portuguese rice on the side. It was all like home cooking and the dishes just kept rolling out. Everything tasted just right, and the atmosphere was like being at a friends house. Our thanks to Maria the chef, and the staff who were very sweet and came out to talk to my mom after the meal and reminisce about the old days... and new ones as well. It was awesome!

We used to love this place. Had a bunch of parties catered in the past but I feel like the food just isn't as good now. The menu is very expensive..I don't think there was anything under $20 although they were doing a special for $20 where you get app entree and dessert. But the entree was very small. And my wife's cod came out cold and on a bed of salad. I've never seen that before. Probably won't be back which is a shame.

The food is great! Popular Portuguese cuisine and combinations to please any pallet.
Pork and steak mix is awesome, yellow rice with pease, moist and very tasty. Portions are very filling and the wait staff very nice and attentive.
Great place to eat or just sit at the beautiful wood crafted bar and watch a game on big screen TVs.

Really great place. We originally went to Primavera Café but they were closed, this place was open an extra half hour and a couple told us they would cook for us even though we came in at closing.
They had a very impressive Taste of Hartford Menu for $20.15. I decided on the Kale Soup, Garlic Chicken with Linguine, and Flan. We also got some very delicious Portuguese rolls and veggies.
The food was very good and the service was prompt and very friendly. If not for the couples recommendation I'd probably never know to come here. The cooking felt very homemade and almost as if you were eating over a friends place. I definitely want to come back here to try some more things on the menu.

Excellent Portuguese food in the restaurant, a nice small neighborhood bar with a good crowd of nice friendly south end citizens. Try the steak and pork mix. Served with rice and pickled vegetables
