Marco's Pizza

While waiting for my pizza to be prepared at this Marco Pizza Parlor, I observed the delivery guy coming through the door, walk behind the counter, pass the registers, to the food prep area, take pizzas out of the oven and box them without washing his hands. He then proceeded to prepare pizzas with some black gloves on and still he did not wash his hands before he donned the gloves. I spoke to another employee there to let them know this man did not wash his hands. The employee spoke with him the man came forward and told me he had on black gloves. He started to argue with me that it was okay for him to have black gloves on and wash the gloves and prepare Pizza. This is not Health Department procedure or standards and he needs to be retrained, taken off the prep line, only to deliver pizzas. This man told me that he had health department papers stating without washing his hands he can put gloves on and then wash his hands with the gloves on. Does this sound ludicrous or what! To describe him he is a short heavy-set Caucasian older man with short hair and he's the delivery driver. Beware have caution before you come and get a pizza made here.

Delicious. I decided to try this because of a review by a youtuber. I ordered the Build your own pizza bowl. I got Extra cheese , Green Bell peppers, Mushrooms and Onions. They filled it up with all the topping I requested.I'm on a lacto- vegetarian journey.What a treat. I ordered from Doordash it came quickly. I also got the ranch dipping sauce and a Mountain Dew.

We love Marco's! The pizza is consistently great. We go there even more because my husband is gluten intolerant and they have excellent gluten free pizza which is difficult to find. Most importantly he has never gotten ill because of poor allergen practices or cross contamination with gluten. They have also never given us the incorrect order, or made his gluten free pizza a regular one, or left anything off our order accidentally. After eating there for literally years with that kind of track record (ESPECIALLY where my husband is concerned), and excellent customer service why would we go anywhere else!

The best pizza at a great price! You can get a small 1 topping pizza and a drink for under $8 which beats Papa John's by $3-$4 and it's always ready super fast. They have free crust toppings and dipping sauces like garlic or jalapeno ranch. I love going here for lunch and it's right next to Oldskool so you can browse some games while you wait for the pizza. Really friendly staff, clean shop, and they have some tables there if you even want to eat in.
