Zaxby's

I have been eating at Zaxby's since the late 90s when they stole the idea from a place called Guthrie's. My experience at this location was awful. It was only open for an hour by the time I got there, and you could tell that everyone there HATED their job SO MUCH. The way they spoke, the way they looked, the way they acted, the just absolutely miserable and unsmiling expressions. Oh my god it was so uncomfortable and generally unpleasant to interact with these people. Just awful. Not going back to this location. I also didn't receive the correct order. The receipt and the cost was correct, but not what's in the box. Whatever. Hopefully either something will change or someone will change their mind after reading this. Food still tasted fine. Probably would have tasted better with better and even remotely friendly customer service.

5 stars HOWEVER please don't forget to teach and follow up with the importance of interacting with the customers outside of "what can I get for you?" "Your total is..." I may be the only one left but I'm not allergic to hellos, how are yous, have a nice days, nor thank yous. Go back to the basics. Retract if you must. And follow up. I'll secret shop free of charge. It's not just about the bucks or speed of service. This I know can be taught.

Customer service was lacking. No hello, no have a nice day. When I told the lady at the window she got my drink order wrong she didn't say a word, just switched it out. Got home and the bottom bun on my sandwich was rock hard and the chicken tasted like it was soaked in pickle juice!🤢 At least the fries were good and the wait time was acceptable.

Fast food 4 star say it ain’t so. But they earned it. The staff are extremely friendly and I have always been made to feel welcomed even when they are slammed. The Cobb salad is one of the best salads in Hampton. I have not found a wilted leaf of lettuce yet. I did have weak tomatoes once out of the 12 times. The grilled chicken is always cooked through and has the expected nice flavor. I do enjoy the fried mushrooms and have no complaints about them although they aren’t spectacular. Got some tenders and they were tasty.

The chicken sandwich is not seasoned and tastes plain. Cobb salads have bacon but the past three times I've purchased it there was no bacon. Don't buy the desserts. They not only taste horrible but they're never fresh when I go there. I purchased a brownie once and it was so hard I could have broken a window with it. Needless, to say I threw it in the trash. I think they nuked it to no return. They also have slow service. Make sure you're not in a rush when you order from drive thru.

Never have I ever had a drive thru get nothing right...will never come back I ordered a house salad with fried chicken and ranch. I got a salad with NO chicken, no toast and wrong dressing...I also ordered a spicy signature sandwich. I got a normal chicken sandwich with a piece of bacon on it... The manager was willing to rectify it when I called but when you are 20 min away already it doesn't really do much...
