Hamptons Standard

Hamptons Standard is a wonderful and important addition to Hampton Bays and offers superb cafe and dining options in a lovely setting. We love stopping by for morning lattes and pastry or the delicious egg sandwich and love the entrees and plates for lunch and dinner. It's also a great spot to meet for drinks and snacks. The staff are uniformly fantastic in every way and highest praise to the baristas. I urge all friends and supporters of Hampton Bays to support and patronize this wonderful cafe and restaurant. It is bringing a vital energy to HB.

Just had our 1st experience. I am excited to now have somewhere to eat outside w my Frenchie. We had a nice server and they did well with the the design & decor. The food we had was good. The sauce for the red mussels was delicious...i took just the sauce home after devouring the mussels. Lol. I was allergic to the fish tostada sauce so the mussel sauce was delicious on them. I enjoyed my shishito peppers, kale salad and the short rib pasta. There is something for everyone. In the market you can even buy flowers! People walking around like management or owners could be a bit friendlier with smiles or simple subtle gestures of acknowledgement....it has an impact in a guest's dining experience. The place is new so i know adjustments are being made...waitress mentioned it too. The website had some items on online dinner menu that was not available when we tried order, like the arugula salad. The girl who poured water looked like she was having a panic attack when we asked how big the chicken pot pie was. And the only thing that really bothered me was having a 2 top with lots of food (i like to order alot) so i moved the candle and fake flower decor to the windowsill behind me..out od the way. The hostess came by lighting candles and then reached behind me to get the candle to light and put on table. Might seem like a small thing but still. Lol... she could have waited til we were gone...it was still bright out and we were gone before it even remotely got dark. I will be back and i will bring people. Happy for Hampton Bays new addition!
