China House

This is a great place for a reasonably priced authentic Chinese meal. They have a couple of booths if you would like to dine in but this is more of a carry out place. The building doesn't look like much and could use an update. I recommend the Mongolian beef or beef and broccoli. Meals come with shrimp fried rice but I always substitute veggie fried rice instead. The potsickers are great in size and flavor. Closed on Mondays

I love this place best Chinese food i had since i left Chicago i used to live around the corner for 6 years ate here all the time i love their combination rice and beef and broccoli. I have moved but when ever i come that way and want Chinese food i always go there. I do not like their chicken honestly.

I came here because of the "mom and pop" review. I was expecting a wide open kitchen with a wok in the middle, chicken teriyaki and some extra sauce if I wanted. I know it isn't Japanese food, but still. I was expecting fresh, made to order. What I found was the usual suspects - General Tso's, sweet & sour chicken and my usual beef and broccoli. I thought it was good until I tasted that soapy, disgusting taste of Moth balls. Seriously, I think the food is stored near Moth balls. Luckily there was an oasis on my way back to Chicago so I could throw up. It was cheap though. I'll give it that.
