I recently dropped by the new location to pick up some samosas. Super impressed by the beauty of this shop, the array of products and the people. While in line to pay for my take away, two women in front of me had quite a few questions for the proprietor, who answered each one patiently. The woman in front of me joked to me that she should be paying for my quick take away order, since she had so many items and questions (to which I replied that it was certainly unnecessary, as I was happy to wait and peruse all that they had to offer in the abundant display). We chatted and as she left with her order, she wished me Seasons Greetings. When it was my turn and I took out my money to pay, the owner let me know that this kind woman indeed had paid for my samosas. I was so touched by this kindness that I was compelled to tell numerous people of my experience at Sensational Samosas and write this review. Clearly this lovely little shop is very special, attracting the kindest people in Dundas! AND the Samosas with Mango sauce were delicious and well received by my family.

Amazing samosas, and I mean AMAZING (trust me, I'm a samosa connoisseur lol). Delicious vegan options that even a carnivore would love. Only complaint is that it's very expensive (we're talking 5 dollars a samosa, yes really) but still worth it.

We serve their samosas at our brewery and they’re a huge hit! Our customers are in love with them, and the feedback is always "these are the best samosa I've ever had!" Kevin & Lorelei, are such kind and hard-working people and they are a pleasure to work with!

Walking downtown Dundas on a cold and rainy December Saturday, we passed by a warm and inviting display of foods within a bright and cheerful storefront. Looking up, all we needed to see was the word 'Samosa'. Upon entering, the service was friendly and attentive. At the suggestion of a revisiting customer, two vegetable samosas along with a beef and also a chicken samosa and two Portugese tarts were purchased. Two heated samosas were eaten for lunch and the other two only lasted until supper the same day. For a reasonable price, the substatively-sized samosas were delicate yet delectable, filling, and tasty. Accompanied by two dips - a hot chutney and a sweeter sauce, the flavour was memorable. Definitely, a 'Sensational' place recommended for a snack, lunch or supper of 'Samosas' or Jamican patties or spanokopita...enjoy your next trip to downtown Dundas with a stop in.

My husband and I have built eating at Sensational Samosa into our Saturday afternoon routine. I would highly recommend their "World's Best Vegan Samosa" or their fruit and chocolate filled muffin.

Disappointed! So overpriced and the food I ordered had an unpleasant sour taste to it. Samosas are ok in flavour (ordered spicy but it wasn't spicy at all, unfortunately) but everything else I tried...not good at all. I'd never get this food again...and I hate giving bad reviews! I wanna like my food. :)

There are a handful of vegan friendly options available at this food stand.
The small retail space features an order /pay counter a very small eat-in / wait area, a display case and the kitchen, in the back.
In addition to being known for samosas the kitchen can also produce decent vegan plates with tasty options such as potato, rice, plantain, squash and spinach, for those that are additionally gluten free.
In the display case there are also a large variety of specialty chocolates, snacks, desserts and drinks from the Carribean on offer.
In the summer the store front is warm, which might make you inclined to order your meal to go for enjoyment outdoors, or in a park.
When we rolled up we received friendly/helpful/patient service. And all of our questions about ingredients and cooking methods were answered with honesty and sample offers - many of which we could not accept because we are gluten free and vegan.
The wait time for our order was relative to what we ordered with a meal taking longer to warm and assemble than say a pre-made samosa that is cooked at the time of the order.
Overall, a good Carribean food experience, but parking on the main street in front of the shop was limited, and we ended up having to pay for parking in order to get to the restaurant to check it out.
As this is quite a small store space I am not sure what system is used when they are busy, or where people would wait for their orders.

The organic samosa was amazing! Had a really nice spice topping! Defiantly going again as the full spread looked amazing. It is not just Indian food.
