High St. Cafe

Go here for the chicken berry salad. This is the best salad my wife says she's ever had in her life. It's loaded with lots of greens, berries, bacon, onions, blue cheese and a tangy vinaigrette dressing. I'm not sure how they're operating currently, whether it is as a restaurant or more a catering business. That being said, they do have a really great breakfast and lots of yummy soups and sandwiches to choose from as well. The front bakery case is always stocked with individual pieces of cakes and pies. They also have lots of cool antiques that serve both as decoration and are for sale.

Quaint, nice restaurant. Breakfast/eggs available all day. 1st time in. We got like the salmon BLT. Check the menus. Enjoyed it very much. Nice atmosphere and associates are very friendly and take care of their customers very well. We will be back. Although we did not order desert, options are very good for those with a sweet-tooth, and they looked very good.

We like to try new places so googled breakfast and found this lil gem. 4.7 stars and great reviews. Very easy to find, cute eclectic decor and very friendly staff. An employee was out in the open area and handed us menus after she found out we had never been there before. She stated to check out the huge wall board where they had specials listed and customers favorites as well and if we didn’t find anything we liked to just ask. After finding what we both wanted we placed our order. The cashier who was also the lady who helped us with menus stated everything comes to go and if staying outside or in to just have a seat and they’ll call our name. The food was quick, nicely portioned, very fresh & oh so good! We sat downstairs since the 1st floor was full and so was the outside seating. We’re definitely going to go back and try out some more of their dishes. I will note that it’s very busy at lunch time since it sits downtown so call or visit early but if you haven’t been you should definitely check it out! 😊

Great food. My wife had a tuna melt. Very good. And a cup of potato soup.very rich. I had the turkey club..can't say how great it was..we both loved this place. We will go back.all the food that past our table looked fabulous. Large salads. Fresh greens. Homemade treats..cookies.cakes.candy. great surprise for trying someplace new...10 star rating from my family.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Every time my friend comes in town High Street cafe has became a staple of his visits. We cycle there on Sunday mornings, sit out front on the front sidewalk. We eat breakfast and drink coffee for a couple hours. Ive never felt rushed in any way. After trying several things on their menu I've been impressed with everything. They have tons of options and plenty for people trying to watch their calories. I love their iced coffee too! To the owner: It would be awesome if you put a bicycle rack out front!
