Just passing through on a road trip spurr of the moment decision to pop in for food and we are so glad we did. Great sellection of food and portions. Excellent service and relaxing atmosphere.

Great place, food excellent, great service. We have been looking for a venue for ages and think we have found it. Out of over 15 meals tried now we have found you.

Also has a specials board for something different, unlike the Sportsman up the road, where they've got rid of their specials board and menu has become boring

The visit was fine everyone enjoyed their food unfortunately I had soup and it was unedible but to be fair I wasn't charged and the staff completely agreed ! Don't think anyone had tasted before it was sent out

Ordered a starter of grilled halloumi, very nice , not too salty .
The main course was fish and chips, one large and one small. I made the mistake of ordering the large one , it was HUGE, and the chips were amazing, far too much for me. Sensible option small if you have a starter.
Some of the best fish and chips ever.
