Fish 'n Frites offers good fresh seafood options while enjoying downtown Halfmoon Bay. You get to sit outside and enjoy nice weather while eating. The environment is nice is relaxed. You can choose from several fish options. We tried fish and chip and found it delicious. Best is we found the fish fresh and you can pick your piece to be made.

First time at this hidden gem. The fish platter was excellent! And the chowder was soooooo good, I bought some to go. Everything they serve is fresh, locally grown.

Good for a one-time visit.
I had the salmon with "house" batter & fries. Good flavor. Plenty to satisfy. Little bit of a wait while it cooked, but it was fresh. Cashier couldn't smile; wrong person for the position. Made the experience unpleasant.

Found this lil hole in the wall by accident. Prices felt a little high, but it's a tourist town, so expect that everywhere. Food was pretty good. My daughter loves her popcorn shrimp and the cod pieces were tasty.
Place is pretty dingy, my chair was missing a foot.

Pretty slow service and ok fish and chips. The garlic fries were tasty, and I like the idea of customizing your fried fish. At the end of the day, I know I can find a better basket of fish and chips, so if I want them, there's a place that will serve you a better basket quicker.
