I am a big fan of being able to eat anywhere that you can eat near or right on the water. If you are a Fan of The Deck Restaurant which sits on the Oregon side of the Columbia then you will also be a fan of The Island Cafe. Located in the heart of the Marina means that you will be seeing boats coming & going on the waterfront as you are dining. I am accustomed to being on & around the water so would expect to have the smells from these boat's fuel systems floating through the air but may be something you might want to avoid if you are sensitive to smells. With that being said, the Staff was fast, friendly & very efficient at their jobs. We arrived on a weekday at approximately 11:30. They were already busy and we only waited for a few minutes to get a table & that was because we preferred a table right next to the water with an open view. The two of us ordered Fish & Chips. They were delish and within the normal range of what you would expect to pay. I loved the unique setting of The Island Cafe and would highly recommend trying it out first hand.

It used to be that they were famous for having pizzas ready to go, but now that's not the case, an employer once said the owner to 7/11 we're also the owners to this establishment and that they prohibited from making pizzas to go because of possible waste. But waiting periods could be up to 30 minutes. Unless you order things online. Waiting period is 15

Very slow service!! I always put my order in at least 1 to 2 hours early. When I show up at the pick up time they just say it has been picked up already. Everytime!! Then they say we will just remake it with a attitude and make us wait the full 15 to 30 minutes. All employees are in the back joking around like they are at a high school lunch.

The stuffed crust pizza is very tasty. Sometimes the have a lot of pizzas hot and Ready to go that any one can pick up. You can place a order here and pick it up when it is ready. Or you can walk in and have them make acustom made pizza. The Wait time for a walk in made pizza is usually around 30 minutes.
