The Box Seat

I have been here 5 times. I had a fully positive experience twice out of the 5 times. We are not the customers to easily complain. We have ordered wings multiple times and got a totally different flavor then what we ordered. We did not call and complain. We simply ate what was given... however today when I received my wings. The seasoning was almost non existent. Look at the photo, it will show the bottom of the tray has 0 seasoning, the chicken barely has seasoning. This is one of the flavors I get every time I come, it has never looked nor tasted this way. Since this was the 3rd time our order was wrong we chose to call and were told they would not be able to replace them. Our option and only option was to bring the wings back from our home and have them add more seasoning. The right thing to do would have been to replace them. A small gesture for a returning customer. My recommendation is to check your bag and your food. Not just the receipt.

When I was looking for a place to throw a surprise 35th Birthday party for my wife, I immediately thought of the Box Seat. Christie was amazing to work with and helped choose the menu. The back room was very accommodating for the 20-25 guests that we had. The food was amazing and staff was great. Very friendly and made sure we all were taking care of. I would highly recommend the Box Seat for anyone looking to host an event. My wife and I were so happy and thankful to the Box Seat!

Some of the best bar food my partner and I have ever had in Greensboro. I don't like pork or hush puppies but those stuffed hush puppies were amazing. I went because of all the reviews about their wings and they didn't disappoint at all. Apparently I had only been given 9 wings, no big deal and I hadn't even noticed but one of the very friendly servers came right back with a 10th wing and even apologized for it. Overall, great experience and would love to go again soon.

We had been here before and LOVED it. Which is why I chose to host my bf's 30th birthday party here. However, food took forever to arrive. Some of my guests were literally refused silverware. I understand that they add an 18% gratuity to make sure staff gets compensated but none (but one) deserved it. We were told it was a small kitchen and when there are alot of orders, things are slow. Slow was an understatement. Then I was told that some orders got mixed in with other orders from the rest of the restaurant. There were literally 4-6 other people in the whole place and two of them were only having drinks. It was ridiculous. I know several of my guests that have said they will never darken the doors again. One even has a podcast that reaches many many people and he gave his bad review on his podcast. Too bad he didn't have a good experience or they would have gotten tons of good publicity for free.
