Waffle House

My experience at the Waffle House was great and delicious! The customer service was amazing for it only to be a couple of employees working at the time. It was good place to dine in and eat with my girlfriend after a long day of running errands. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know because of my experiences there. I really look forward to going again! Thank you.

This Waffle House is absolutely terrible/horrible/ and any other awful word you can think of. My husband and I walked in and Serenity, the waitress, greeted us and told us to sit anywhere. Our table was dirty and my husband was getting ready to ask them to clean it off, but he didn’t want to ask. She saw the table was dirty and came back to clean it and apologized. Serenity took our order and we sat there waiting. Come to find out there was no cook, they were waiting for him to arrive but he was late. When he finally got in he went straight to the back to the office. So Serenity and another young lady who has been there since 2pm started cooking our food. The guy cook in the back can be heard and seen coughing. When he finally decided to come from the back he reeked of weed… I asked to speak with the manager because the smell was just unbearable but they said they didn’t have one, which is odd. Serenity did what she could and kept apologizing but it wasn’t good enough for me, I’m sorry. I’m never going back to this Waffle House or maybe won’t be going back to any Waffle House at this point.

I don’t normally leave reviews this irritated my soul this morning because I’m hungry and I have to get on the road!!! They are simply not open 24 hours!!! It’s 530 in the am. I was turned away not because it was busy! There was 2 people getting food inside. I was told they had to clean up for the next shift! Don’t go there during shift change I guess whenever that may be!

This place needs to be shut down! Calling the health department as well to report. Came in at 2:30 am. Dirty dishes everywhere. Only 1 waitstaff there. No one was in here, she told us the cook was out back sick and she could not take any orders. She finally agreed to make us a waffle. The cook never once came back in, she had to turn away customers due to him being gone. Food was out, dishes dirty pulled up. How can this place even be open. After talking to the waitress this happens on the regular, the cook leaves and gets high in his car and sleeps. How can this be ok?

The manager Mike has no respect for his customers, or his employees. He is consistent at sending 1 order out at separate times (eggs to table, then hashbrowns, then meat, etc) he acts like he's withdrawing from hard drugs a lot too. Pretty sure I've seen powder on his nose at work too. I've watched him randomly yell at his whole staff over nothing. I've walked out when I saw him working.
