Avis sur Harris Teeter

I mainly use the pharmacy at friendly center Harris Teeter. The pharmacist (Tyler) and staff are terrific. I tried shopping for groceries but it's too confusing for this older guy. Obviously most customers understand the 3tiered pricing structure that left me unable to estimate what I was spending before I got to the cash register. All the employees I encountered were top notch imo. The meat and seafood selection was great and really impressive and they have a lot of customers. I got a savings (VIC) card at the front desk and got some good deals on meat but again with the tiered pricing on the products I wasn't sure of the final price until I paid. I always shopped at Kroger when I lived in TN, Harris Teeter is owned and operated by Kroger. They have perks like fuel saving at their gas station next door.

On June 1, 2022, I went to eat lunch at the Harris Teeter grocery store, on West Friendly Ave., in Greensboro, NC. The store has a Salad Bar, Asian Bar, and a Hot Bar. There is also a Sandwich and Pizza/Pasta counter nearby. There are convenient self checkout registers nearby and two dining areas near the food bars. I decided to get a plate of food from the Hot Bar, as I had eaten here on two previous occasions and really liked the food selection and quality. While I was putting together my plate, one of the employees was there servicing the bar. I asked her where the food was prepared and she smiled and pointed to an area near the food bars. She also stated she was the food bar manager. Her name was "Shanta". We had a brief conversation about the food. She was very friendly and told me to have a great day, as I was leaving for the checkout. This day, I had the seasoned grilled salmon, rice and collard greens, and it was delicious. There were many other selections of meats and vegetables, and all looked great. The experience with the freindly employee and the great food, made for a most pleasureable experience, and I will definitely return. Chow.

From a VERY LONG TIME and VERY DEDICATED EMPLOYEE’S wife’s perspective Harris Teeter in general has done just about everything to NOT show appreciation for my husband’s hard work. Breaks my heart how they have done MY HUSBAND and Harris Teeter SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!! Pathetic “raises” are just a punch in his face...yet he STILL remains loyal. Just want to know one thing....How’s it feel up there on top doing my husband this way and you living high on the hog??

This used to be my favorite grocery store, but it has gradually gone downhill. I picked up a custom cake today in the bakery that looked like it was decorated by a 5-year-old. It had something brown and sticky on top of the box. I asked if they could get that off or put it in another box, preferably. The person sent someone else with a wet paper towel to dab at it rudely and obviously put out. Later, when I put the cake in my car, it was apparently on the bottom of the box, too, and got my car seat dirty and sticky- I was not a happy camper! The cake is for a graduation ceremony tomorrow- I can only hope it is chocolate inside as requested, and that it tastes better than it looks. I won’t be ordering any more cakes here, needless to say.

Store is nice,but I was at register 5 and the cashier on4 was completely confused and stressed. He spun the cart around in front of me and proceeded to stomp on my foot! Since I'm already limping from a knee injury I did go to customer service but seeing as how I'm already limping they apparently weren't very interested they were kids though Don't think it was a manager. Maybe do something to help workers deal with stress, the cashier on 4 was a mess.
