I love diners, and coming to Doug"s for my first time, I was excited and ready for a great diner meal. Unfortunately, Doug's really didnt deliver the day we went. The people I was with all had lunch, actually the patty melt. To me it looked good and they all enjoyed it....each one said that the side dish of french fries just werent that good...limp, and luke warm, as if they had sat under a light for a while. To bad. Now, on to my complaints....we waited roughly 30 minutes after we ordered for our food. It didnt seem overly busy. Diners are about good, comfort food...fast. it just seemed to me that it took a bit too long. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla made with chorizo, and hashbrowns extra crispy. The plate was huge and seemed like a good value as I think it was only 10 bucks. My hashbrowns were hat and fully crisp...nice! The quesadilla was good, lots of eggs, a good amount of filling...I personally wouldnt order the chorizo again as it was greasy, but I had expected that from chorizo. My big complaint with the dish was the brown guacamole. It looked as if it sat around too long without enough acid in it to keep it from turning...yuck! As Greeley is pretty limited on most kinds of restaurants outside of mexican, I am sure that I will eventually return. I hope that I can give it more stars and a better review in the future.

I've been to the FC and Windsor locations for a long time but this was my first time at the Greeley location. Same GREAT menu and attentive staff. I'm not sure if it's just at this location but at the end of our meal, I saw a sign advertising 99c Mimosa's, so that will NEED to happen next visit. The green chili is always super flavorful without being overly spicy and the hashbrowns have been my favorite part of my meal since my first visit. Be sure to order some toast so you can try the homemade jam too!

I would like to give 5 stars but won't because of the average service from my server. I've been a server before and know what it's like so i can say my server wasn't busy and failed to do a check up. After taking our order Alexis didn't come back until the end of our meal. A cook came out to deliver our food. I left my coffee cup and the end of the table for a refill that was ignored until the very end. I wanted hot sauce but never had a chance to ask and don't like getting up to go ask or waving the employee over because I feel that's rude. However, the place was very nice inside. Great decor. Very clean including the restrooms. Plate presentation was excellent along with the taste and quality of the food. My grandma thought so as well. It wasn't as hot as expected I feel because my server neglected to bring it out on a timely manner. Also there was another server name unknown ( black hat with buttons pinned to it ) who assisted my server on multiple occasions who was very friendly & looked like he was taking great care of his tables as well as seating people

Doug's Diner is an absolute favorite of ours. Good food,great staff! Our meals are delivered in a timely fashion and we've never had a problem with getting seated in good timing as well. It does get busy and everyone works efficiently to ensure a good visit. I would highly recommend eating here. Our favorite is The Cowboy! Yum!! Hometown cooking with fair pricing.

TLDR: Amazing breakfast, poor service. I decided to stop on for a visit from Aurora. I was seated pretty fast and got my drinks quick. The only issue came soon after. We ordered our food and then 20 minutes later it came out cold. Cold to the point that everything was below room temp. The food tasted great, even while cold. Great biscuits, gravy, and hash browns
