Blue Mug

The Blue Mug has been my go-to spot for years for meeting up with friends, Bible studies, or just getting some work done. It has delicious drinks, in house baked goods, and sandwiches all situated in a wonderful atmosphere with great staff and community driven owners. If you haven’t yet made the Blue Mug your regular spot for coffee dates, do so now! You won’t regret it.

Today we stopped at the blue mug coffee and rotisserie in Greeley Colorado. I got a large cup of the dark side coffee with Hazelnut and a shot of espresso. Apparently the coffee cups are also mugs and kisses. The Establishment is a good size coffee shop that is packed with locals who seem to sit and stay and talk with each other. There is even a pig board with lots of local business cards Pinda to it, so it's obviously a place where a lot of locals hang out. It was morning, so I decided to eat breakfast here, which was also good. The staff was very friendly, and the establishment is clean, including the bathroom. Really great place to get coffee, and if you plan on being here multiple times, ask for the blue mug Club card, as every 10 cups get you a free one.

UPDATE: April 2022. WORST cup of coffee I've had in a while wont be going back to this location I used to love the blue mug but the blended coffee came out bitter and honestly just gross. If I wanted to buy burnt bitter coffee id go to Starbucks. My husband and I couldn't drink them! June 2021-Never have had a bad coffee from this place! Blended, iced, or hot. Snacks and food here has always been great.

My favorite coffee shop in Greeley. They make great espresso drinks, but they have THE BEST drip coffee I've had in a coffee shop. Their whole bean coffee is amazing. Their baked goods put others to shame. The atmosphere is great. The owner and all his employees are amazing. Make sure to tip here! Ask about the Flintstones car.

I had a ginger chai (3rd street brand), so I can't speak to the quality of the coffee. However, the customer service was excellent. Super kind barista who brightened my morning. I was also grateful for the outdoor seating, even though the shopping center parking lot vibe isn't amazing. The inside looks cute and comfortable. I'll have to try the coffee next time I'm in town.
