Cote Gloucester

Food was generally quite good. The calamari was incredible, and the chips sides were good as well. The seafood stew(don't remember the name exactly) was nice too, although slightly too salty. The drinks we had were pretty average. Generally a good experience, although fairly expensive as you would expect.

First visit to Cotes on a cold and very windy day as a treat for getting a new job. So happily pored over the menu to see what was on offer. I opted for Steak Tartare as a starter while my partner enjoyed the Crab Maison. Both were delicious and perfectly seasoned. For main course, we chose a classic Moules Frites with a tomato salad, and a Poulet Breton and once again, both were perfectly cooked. The sauce of the mussels was incredible. To finish the dinner we opted for a praline crepe and a meringue/cream dessert with chocolate sauce (which I cannot remember the name of). The crepe was wonderful while the meringue was sweet and indulgent . The server was the most happy and attentive person who was very passionate for the food and the restaurant. I look forward to a return visit.

Wow, really appetising glisten free dishes. We had a cheese platter which was super laden with fruits. The fish pie with salmon, cod and prawns is a surprise which threw us off positively. The service is such a pleasure. Mr Carlo who served us as well as the entire team is so customer obsessed. Coming from London, these guys are so delightful and we enjoyed the evening here. Ways to go guys and cheers to them! Good selection of full bodied French wine which goes well with their menu. Solid good and great value for the price. Just go for it!
