Highlight Coffee in Glendale was recommended to me by someone who knows his coffee, so I wasn't surprised that my flat white came out pretty good. Yet the best part of my visit, is the two super chill, upbeat baristas. I had a fun chat with them, and had the pleasure to hear some of their coffee shop insights.
The coffee shop is smaller than it seems from the street. The corner unit has big street windows on both sides, letting in lots of natural light. There are a few small tables and a standing bar. For a neighborhood coffee shop, it is more than enough.

Another good Matcha Latte discovery!
Went here to try out their matcha latte since I'm not a coffee enthusiast. I was quiet surprised that they use korean matcha from Jeju to make the drink. The taste is awesome! Although a little too much milk for me, but I can still taste the matcha.
Parking is a little tricky because there's no parking space and you can't park or stop in front of the store. You have to ask someone to drop you off or park more forward by the 99 cents store.

They make the best cheese croissants!
It was my first time there. There was $5 deal for coffee and pastry if you get there by 8:30am. I barely made it. They recommended I should try the cheese croissant . I did and it was so delicious! Not to sweet! Perfect. It also had dried cranberries. Service was good too! Everything was perfect!

Always great latte and cappuccino in a right size. Cappuccino is 8 oz, latte is 12 oz. I order drinks with oat milk and baristas brew perfect coffee with it! God foam, rich taste, perfect temperature. If you are in love with coffee you should visit this place! Staff is friendly, countertops and tables are clean.
There are a lot of pastries here, I haven’t tried yet, but they look very delicious

Was trying to do some work and attend a meeting. The workers kept talking very loudly and started vaccuming the coffee grinder. Felt that they were very inconsiderate of their workers. Even though there weren't many people in the store, it was very frusterating trying to do work with so much noise being made by the workers. Definitely wont be coming again.

Great coffee. It's definitely a hipster place. They have a limited menu but all of it is good.

This place is so great! Each drink is perfectly crafted. The iced vanilla orange latte is surprisingly delicious. It is a mind orange taste, nothing overpowering at all.
The space to eat inside is small, but seating is almost always available since most people get it for to go.
They also have a reward system if you sign up and you get a free drink every 10!

As newcomers to this area, fresh from Boston, we were looking for a place with a creative vibe, with coffee made to perfection, and delectable baked goods- and this place did not disappoint! Wonderful staff, easy going, cool atmosphere, and the owner, Frank was so friendly and kind and took time to tell us all about the coffees and creative drinks. My husband was happy with his espresso and the Kenyan coffee I got was just as I remembered it in Nairobi. Thank you, Frank for a wonderful first coffee experience in LA/Glendale! We will be back for sure! :-)
