Came last night for dinner, unfortunately the chef had to go early but we had fabulous drinks , service was fantastic and the manager really looked after us, we will be back for dinner soon , thanks very much!

I was initially interested in checking this place out as it was used as a location in a book I read and sounded interesting. It definitely did not disappoint. I decided to try one of the Gin flights, this was really cool as it allowed an opportunity to try 3 different gins paired with appropriate garnishes and tonics/mixers.

After our experience of chaos in August when we visited, manager Alva and her team more than made up for it yesterday when we gave them a second chance. She had said shecwould honour itison voucher regardless of date because of what had happened, and she did, and above and beyond. We had our morning tea experience which is what we wanted, and we throughly enjoyed. We got sense they had taken on board our feedback and welcomed opportunity to prove they could deliver a great experience. They did from the moment we arrived. Good and prompt service ,without being intrusive or effusive. Alvanley got it spot on, and was clearly supporting new member of staff which was nice to see. A great experience. We still have one voucher left and will be back for the morning tea again as it is such a nice change, in a lovely setting and with great service. Thank you.

Visited yesterday and had a sauvignon blanc and chicken wings with honey and sweet chilli sauce. Delicious and excellent value.

Q code table service worked perfectly and the staff were great. Ate spicy wings and sourdough bread with oil. Super little place

Went early Friday evening! Lovely venue. Only disappointment is you can't take all the drinks out to the terrace.

Great to sit in sunshine lots of outside seating. Good choice of drinks.

1 of our orders got lost. Staff quickly fixed it.

I’ve been here a few times for drinks and it’s a nice place to sit out and enjoy the world go by.
Visiting post-pandemic, the restrictions don’t take away from the experience. The waitress who served us was really lovely - happy to stand and chat for a minute.
The toilets could be doing with some maintenance work - locks, doors, toilet seats all in need of repair. Otherwise they’re clean but I’d expect more of a place like this.
The only down side was that a lot of the gins we wanted to order weren’t available. It’s also not cheap - between £8-11 for a drink.
Update: been here for an afternoon tea and the service and food were excellent. A couple of cocktails were unavailable and the toilets are under repair but otherwise good.

Good was lovely but lacking in seasoning, especially the beef. Was giving no indication that we wouldn't be able to have dessert as the kitchen clears at 9pm. A heads up and we would've ordered before hand. Service to start was very slow. Not menus, drinks order taken... 2 staff just chatting at the bar, on their phones. Cocktails were fab. Rating for drinks then food.

I visited today for the first time for the spa treatment , it was such wonderful experience from being greeted at the door to leaving.. Thank you to Lorraine for the massage and reflexology and for your knowledge and explanation of treatments.
Afternoon tea was amazing, thank you to the chefs for a lovely and delicious afternoon tea including a vegan option and we appreciated all the knowledge and recommendations that the waiter recommended.
To all the staff that were working today, thank you so much for making us feel welcome and for brilliant service 👍looking forward to the next visit.
