Seriously impressed, 1st time ordering from here and won't be the last. Food was delicious (especially the soft shell crab tempura) and the delivery driver was lovely.

I got the kimchi beef bowl by takeaway and usually when I eat veggies from other restaurants they are very bland and a bit unfresh, but Okome veggies are so fresh and crunchy and they season their bean sprouts with a delicious sauce. It really took the beef bowl to the next level it’s so crunchy spicy flavourful and delicious.I love that they sell cute Japanese snacks too. I want to dine in here next time.

By far the nicest food iv had to go in bathgate in a long time. Both me and my partner loved it, would highly recommend. Portions were very generous, apologies not all the gyoza made it into the picture but there were 5 to start 🤣😊

Okome is a japanese restaurant, run by the chinese. I have not tried many dishes, but the ramen is good. They have a variety of choices, there are lunch deals from mon to fri, each day with different dish with the price of £7,5 (from 11h30-4h). Sometimes this lunch deal is changed. The overall price is reasonable. The minimum amount that is allowed to be paid by card is £8, if less then u can only pay by cash. Free wasabi, sesame oil and chilly powder. A good place to try on byres road.

I had a great time in that restaurant.
The food was great and savoury and the place was clean.
However, the place in itself really is too small and some more decorations would make the restaurant a more pleasant place.
I think eating to go is a better option.

Excellent food. Definitely recommend the rice bowl dishes. Feels modern and easy going. Very good vegetarian choice. Great value for money.

Okome is a nice place to check out for some delicious Japanese food in Glasgow. We tried Spinach bun, tofu curry rice , Prawn Gyoza and passion fruit ice tea. Spinach bun was a unique take on the traditional pork bun. The tofu curry was rich and flavourful. And even the prawn Gyoza was yummy
