Yanagi Sushi

Yangagi’s is a must try!! We come 3-4 times a month. Hans and Misook have a pristine restaurant with high quality fish. For my boyfriends birthday they specifically ordered tuna toro for us! Hans served us Korean style, with yummy sauces, hot sake, thick delicious fresh slices of sashimi and taught us some of the best pairings for fish I’ve ever experienced. The quality of how I am treated matched with the food’s fine dining quality is absolutely superb! It is truly the best fine dining intimate sushi experience.

What wonderful service!! We ordered sushi rolls and egg rolls, our dasher left without the egg rolls so I called. The woman on the phone was SO extremely nice and brought them right over! So so sweet! We loved the sushi rolls and wasn't expecting such exceptional service. We will absolutely order again. Thank you!!

I don’t really leave a comment usually for a restaurant, but the owner and the server were very kind and fun!! The food was great too..my favorite were the Vegas roll, chicken wings and teriyaki chicken! They made some great changes with the interior. It looks nice and feels cozy! I will go back definitely and bring friends!

The server on Sunday was very kind, patient and answered my questions. I think the prices aren't bad at all. Since I came in on the weekend I was unable to get the happy hour price. I believe she said Tuesday-Thursday or Friday 2-6pm. I ordered the Miso Soup, and got the 3 for $17 sushi deal. The miso was great, which is a good sign for the resturuant over all. The asparagus roll sometimes comes with a sauce or it comes as tempura; this was pretty plain, and small for a sushi roll. I requested the spicy salmon roll be a hand roll instead. They happily obliged. This roll has been made differently at almost every sushi resturuant I go to. In this case it was larger slices of salmon (instead of minced), drizzled with spicy mayo which is what I prefer for sauce. Sometimes, spicy salmon or tuna will have a marinade instead of sauce drizzled, which is fine. It was good food, but probably an 8/10 for sushi. The place was clean and the big surprise was the portion size, price and quality of the tempura green tea ice cream. They dressed it up with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and a cherry. It was very delicious, $10 and there was so much. Easily shareable for 3-5 people. Over all this place is 5 stars in my opinion.
