Quaint local buffet style restaurant with good home cooking style food. The owners and waitress were very kind, kept our drinks full, and made sure everything went well through the course of our visit. We went during lunch and there were mainly senior citizens there. Perhaps adding some foods more catered to the younger crowd would bring parents with children, or younger crowds in. The price was slightly steep for the meal, but I suppose since it was buffet not as bad. I would have preferred to have a menu as I don't usually eat enough to pay the buffet price. Only other piece of feedback would be sure the ranch dressing on salad bar is cool rather than room temperature. Not bad overall though.

Awesome atmosphere. Great food. We live Missouri, come down to Geneva to visit our Granddaughter, and have eaten here twice

The food was awesome. Grand Jan's has a homey feel to it. I am reminded of my own grandmother's kitchen. You have to get some of their fried cornbread!

I dont give 5 stars often. This place is perfect. Small town, home cooked, lots of it, fresh, good pricing. Dont expect a menu. More like "this is what we made today". Not Michelin, but good, solid food.

I don't have teeth so there is some of the fish that I ate that was hard. My friends that were with me got the fried Chicken it was moist but the outside of it was hard. Not a lot of choices.

They serve the best food around for a great price, always friendly, and keep the place in order although they are usually busy, you can still go and enjoy lunch and a good price with friends.
