Raynathan's

Rays Nathan's is one of the best BBQ places in all of Gaston county. I always get some brisket, it's delicious. The baked beans are great and the assortment of sauces is excellent. I highly recommend you check them out you will not be disappointed. This time I got the Stephen's Brisket Sandwich man was it delicious. My wife got the combo plate pork and chicken. Delicious

Great service!!!!! During our 1 hour there we had the owners/managers come by twice to ask if everything was ok and the waitress was very attentive. The pulled pork sandwich was juicy, tasty and amazing. The brisket was good but not as juicy and flavorful as the Brisket Dip sandwich or the Stephen’s Brisket Sandwich which were great (and juice)The sides were all excellent in flavor and temperature. The chicken wing was one of the best we have ever had. Unfortunately the half a rack of rib (dry rub) was not a winner today. The bark was too thick making it really dry and chewy and not at all the kind that falls off the bone. I feel maybe it was just that batch?? Seeing that everything else was so good. I would like to try it another day.

All I have to say is Ray Nathan’s is 12/10!! Would recommend!!! It was sooo good! Here are some things I LOVED. 1. Fresh Cherry Lemon Sundrop with cherries 2. A variety of different bbq sauces 3. Best french fries, mac n cheese and fried okra 4. Fantastic pulled pork 5. Last but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST…. the BEST banana pudding EVER!!

Can I give it ten stars? Ray Nathan's has incredibly delicious food and superb, friendly service. The brisket was perfect and so were all the sides and sauces. The banana pudding is the real thing. The street corn on the cob is too. If you are looking for a true taste of the Carolinas, this is your place.

Absolutely delicious! Best BBQ I have ever had. My cousin and I ordered a pork/brisket platter and 4 sides platter. We had collards (would have been better with some pork/bacon but still tasty), jalapeño cheese grits, fried okra, Mac n cheese, baked beans, peach cobbler, and banana pudding. Everything was amazing. I will go back for sure!

Wow! I am so glad that we ran across this place! Not a single complaint about my meal! The meats were fall off the bone tender without being dry and the sides stood up to the entrees! I had Mac and cheese, bbq corn and a biscuit with my brisket and pork plate. Delicious! The place was packed with happy people and a casual family friendly vibe. We will be back for sure!
