The food was awesome. I had the number 1 item on the menu. It says spicy but it more like mild. The ramen was so soft and easy to eat. The pork was tender. One of the best ramen I had. Would come back for sure.

My favorite is the Butaton Ramen but this time I ordered a salad and chicken appetizer. Salad was larger than expected considering they called it a mini salad. I was not a fan of the chicken but the hot dipping sauce definitely helped it.

Every time in here is the same and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Usually get sat immediately or very quickly, anime is playing on the tvs there, the people working are always nice and friendly and the ramen is always amazing! The broth with black garlic oil in it is where it's at! 🤤

I just went earlier to try the spicy miso and boy it is the best spicy miso ramen I have had and they put in a lot of pork and noodles too for an excellent price and the customer service is also excellent!!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone craving some delicious ramen noodles.
Update 1/07/2022: I took my wife there a week ago and she is a super picky eater and she loved the spicy miso and if she loves it that says this is one OC's best ramen shop hands down.

Real Japanese taste great Ramen. Grilled pork so nice. Butaton Ramen very rich taste. I strongly recommend this restaurant as Japanese. It’s Japanese quality in USA.

The Ramen was delicious! Fast service and nice atmosphere. The picture is of the Tonkotsu Ramen + dumplings (after I mixed it a bit, the presentation was better beforehand but I forgot to take a picture). I was very happy with my experience here.

The soup base on the ramen is really good. We had them all. The shoyu was surprisingly very flavorful. The spicy miso was good but didn't taste like miso, more like tonkatsu. The tonkatsu had a good porky taste, the chasu was tasty but a bit cold. All in all was really good. We actually looked at a recent posted menu but the actual menu now was $1 more. Check the picture for the most recent menu.

Some of the best ramen I've ever had! It was priced really well too. Another great thing about this place is that they had Studio Ghibli movies playing. Just an overall great place to eat and enjoy a date with my significant other.
