Mama Ruth's kitchen has great food there's plenty of places to sit inside and benches a couple of benches outside to sit on and the horchata isn't so bad either I think no matter who you are there's something there that you'll like.

Such a wonderful place unique to Gainesville. Always feel welcome here. Great to see people from all walks of life come here and eat. The food is made to order and affordable. Amazing service every time! Shrimp quesadilla is my personal go-to.

Authentic Mexican food..also a good selection of American food. Steak tacos with cactus was good...one of our party had hamburger steak and it was a little dry. Another of our party had chicken stir fry..it was good except the vegetables were not quite tender. Still, we all agreed we would eat there again!

Good food but a little pricey. Today the tacos were very dry, but the hot wings were awesome. They were huge and so worth the wait. I also love the tortas. they are so good.

I love Mama Ruth's Kitchen. I eat there regularly with my wife and my friends. It's a place where people of all ages and all cultural groups can come and eat together and the food is delicious. It's prepared properly. They take the time to do it right. The service is cordial. I just love Mama Ruth's kitchen and I will eat there the rest of my life. Thank you, Richard Borgman
