The food is great. You can tell it's homemade and fresh. And the price is very reasonable. Less than $10 for a meat and three sides. And you can add a drink and dessert for just a few bucks more. They stay pretty busy. So there can be a little wait. But not unreasonably long and the food is worth the wait.

Service was fast and friendly. Decaf coffee was good. I got the French toast, which isn't on the menu and asked for sugar free syrup. When I received the toast it was smothered in powdered sugar, not good for a diabetic. I ate it because the waitress never came back to check on us. I also asked for my bacon crisp, which it wasn't. My sister got a BLT and hashbrowns which were swimming in grease. Probably wouldn't go back.

The strawberry walnut salad was great. Sliced strawberries, candied walnuts on mixed green salad with grilled chicken and their own strawberry vinegearette dressing. I highly recommend this. Will be back for another one.

If you want just good plain food and nice folks stop here. My favs are the fried green tomatoes, the sweet potato casserole, and thechicken strawberry salad. Breakfast is filling and there is a good variety. Pancakes are awesome.
