I've tried ignoring something's... like the open hostility writing plainly on the butcher's face, or the sour look on the woman in deli because there are those that shine through and make it worth going.
But, really...these flowers! That my husband was allowed to even purchase them the way that they looked even with a rotted molded flower bulb inside. Don't you folks cycle out your flowers? I thought that's what you do, I mean you are in retail, you do cycle through your inventory do you not? I mean that's what I do I'm in in retail myself.
I'm not even going to bother trying to take these back I know they were just $15 but that's not what's the principal here the principal is that you are selling a product to your general community and that product should be of the highest standard cuz do you not hold yourself to that higher standard? BTW, these were for my little girls 22nd birthday she'll accept them, because she doesn't want to break her daddy's heart but shame on you.
I guess not.

This Raley's has two things that others don't: Dutch Crunch loafs that are baked daily (still warm when they open) and the best sushi I can attest to. The women who makes the Sushi, has the touch. Give her a raise to let her know she is greatly appreciated. If she is standing there she will make it in front of you the way you like. (as coming thru the front door her station is to the right of the soup. Do yourself a favor: Get you some Sushi.

I worked for Raley's for 3 years. My managers were strict when it came to our interactions with customers. Always make customers feel comfortable and welcome. Some people would frequent our store because we always put the customer first.
This particular store doesn't seem to follow those simple rules. You are just a thing that is in their way. Pay for your stuff and get out is their attitude.
I walked into this store around 6:30am on June 7th, 2022 and was immediately stared down by an employee who was chit chatting with another employee. I stared back at him and he looked away for a second before looking at me again. He then said in an extremely sarcastic way: "good morning sir!" I said: "there ya go!" After I walked away, the female employee who was talking to him said: "well excuse me!" Even though I wasn't talking to her, she still had to make her little comment.
Extremely rude and not usual for a Raley's. I worked for Raley's and I have been to many others because I genuinely like their stores; I have never encountered a situation like that.
I love Raley's, but this particular store does not reflect what they're all about.
Perhaps the employees were not told how to deal with customers? I doubt that. The managers need to remind them how important the customers are. No customers, no store, no job.

Today was a great day at Raley’s. Store was bright, clean and stocked. Whoever worked deli this morning made the best sandwich, thank you. Produce was looking perfect. Young meat guy explained rockfish uses, super nice. No wait for checkout and can’t beat the reward program. Thanks for a pleasant experience!

Typically I have no problems here at The Fremont location but there is a lady named Margarita in the deli who gives me dirty looks every time I am there. I have always ignored her but today when I asked a question about the bread she responded in a short harsh tone and wouldn’t even look up at me. She was blatantly rude and when I asked her why she was being so rude, she continued to be rude, again refusing to look at me. When I told her I no longer wanted her help she said “fine don’t talk to me.” When I asked why she felt the need to be so rude she rolled her eyes and when in acknowledged that she said “I have eyes don’t I.” Again when I asked why she was being so rude and why she constantly gives me dirty looks and mentioned her possibly not liking black people, she made no comment and raised her eyebrows before retrieving her things and going to the back. As a black women unfortunately I am use to rude treatment but today was just over the top and my children were present and in complete shock as well. I have escalated this complaint up but unfortunately I doubt she will be reprimanded in a way that’s appropriate or effective. Thank you Bella for stepping in and making my sandwich and John for taking the time to speak for me about the incident. People like Margarita definitely should not work in customer service. Thank you Margarita for allowing me to show my kids how NOT to be and how to appropriately handle people that are rude to you for no apparent reason.

The word that comes to mind is spectacular. I mean, for a market. Super clean with great variety. There’s a Hallmark shop inside, what? Like I need more impulse buy opportunities. Great shopping experience!

Decent place to get your groceries. They are open as early as 6 am and closes late at 11 pm. Very convenient for any last minute or early morning shoppers
