Slow cooker beef ribs were nice, as we're wedges, need to up the quality on the steak, had an off tinge and sour cream had a off tinge.

A classic old school Aussie pub, and a great vibe in the basement. Just need to have a better selection of tap beers. The days of boring Aussie beers only are long gone now thankfully !

Went there for a few Sunday arvo beers.
Nothing negative, the locals were super friendly, every one of them in the bar stopped and chatted to us which was really cool.
Barmaid was super friendly and my most cherised benchmark was met - icy cold beer.
It's an old pub, probably needs a freshen up in decor, toilets were old but clean enough.
Was nice to have a quiet beer out on the verandah and hear each other talk without loud music and just watch the world go by.
Dont expect scenic views - it sells cold beer with a friendly smile. Excellent.

The Swan Basement is my favourite licensed venue for a show , hardcore music and booze in a comfy laid back environment . Love the place .

Probably not a bad place for a quite drink but I played a gig here with some other bands and the event was a nightmare. The bar staff flat out ignoring patrons to the point where it took 20 minutes to get a drink. The last band of the night had to be cut short because the manager wanted to have a screaming match with the sound guy because it was too loud. Probably shouldn't have booked 6 punk bands if you didn't want loud music until late?
