Lovely historic building setting. Busy so a bit of a wait for the coffees but delicious food. Eggs cooked exactly right as was the haloumi. The kids all enjoyed their meals too especially the hot cakes. Toasted Turkish bread was really good!

Cold winter morning but the courtyard with leaves everywhere still looked good. Glad to see an old friend still around. Had a large flat white, fine, and poached eggs with a large helping of bacon. Well done and the soft bread worked well.

Very disappointing, we made an enquiry in regard to the cleanliness of the venue to the owner (whom we were told was having coffee with another person at a table next to us), only to be rudely dismissed with an arrogant and sexist remark. I would not recommend this Cafe and will not be returning.

If you want a quiet relaxing place to chill out, with plenty to look at, this is your place. Especially on a sunny day! Took the doggo here too, which is always a plus for us. The menu was good, food good, but the most interesting are the bakery items on offer. If you have a food intolerance, or are vegan, this is the place for you! Plenty on offer for carnivores like me too :)

I’ve always heard great things about Moore and Moore Café in Fremantle, found in a heritage listed building on Henry Street. It’s in a beaut location, just around the corner from Bread in Common and a stone’s throw from the Fishing Boat Harbour, Esplanade Park, Round House and Cappuccino strip. Making it really accessible to pop by for a coffee whatever you’re doing in Freo.

Went here during the day on a Tuesday. The food was okay, however, the staff's attitude was terrible. One waitress, with short blonde hair, in particular, was incredibly rude. Previously I have found the staff lovely but not today. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or is outright rude all the time. Very disappointing

This is a great cafe with unique design with seating indoor and outdoor in the courtyard. This is s great place for larger groups too. The food and drinks are amazing. I recommend the biodynamic pancakes (add blueberry) which were fluffy and delicious. For savoury, I had the Mexican Florentine with added venison chorizo which was really good as well. <br/><br/>The cafe also makes their own almond milk which was really good as well as fresh chai which comes in a pot. If you don’t mind your spice in drinks, I highly recommend trying it!

This place is one of my favourite brunch places. No matter how busy or packed the place is, the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The tumeric latte is so good, I always get it with almond milk because their house made almond milk is extra nutty and fragrant. I was surprised by the generous scoop of ice cream in my friends iced mocha drink. Got the mashed pumpkin on Turkish bread which was very delicious and the pecans added extra flavour. The eggs were slightly overdone (to most people who love runny eggs) but since I prefer them more well cooked it was good for me. Also the Turkish bread is so good, soft and tasty. I wonder if they sell it separately? My friend got the Mexican Florentine, which came with a huge portion of eggs, avocado, beans and bread. Great brunch place to try out if you happen to be around Fremantle

I can't understand why it has such high rating. The coffee we had was the worst we've had in a long time, it was weak, watery and one was warm the other barely warm. If it wasn't for the lemon muffin, I would be rating it 1.

Had a nice soy chai latte but it was by far the most expensive soy chai latte I had ever paid for ($7.70) probably because of the public holiday although I could not see any extra surcharge notification on the menu so it was very expensive for a soy chai. It was great but I have had better. Also the service was not very friendly and inviting. No one greeted me even though I was stood at the counter looking at the menu for a while. So I had to ask how it worked (whether there was table service or not). Also when my chai arrived there was no spoon that came with it. The place itself was nice to sit around in though

More fun exploring food spots in Freo, and Moore and Moore had been on my list for far too long. <br/>Greeted by a live jazz trio at the door of the alleyway leading into the place was a welcome surprise! There are plenty of tables and chairs to choose from, both inside and out, with help yourself water in retro blue and red fridges. Wifey ordered the salmon, and was rewarded with a scrummy dish. I went for the Mexican Florentine, and devoured mine! Eggs were fresh, and cooked spot on. The black beans were so tasty. And the coffees were wonderful too. Decor is rustic artistic, service friendly and fast. Well recommend.

It was a cold morning when I arrived for an early breakfast today. As it was just after 7am, not many customers were around and I basically had the whole front room to myself. As I sat down, I could hear people/customers walking on the second floor and that's when I noticed that there were gaps in the floorboards above. I wouldn't want to be eating in the front room if the place is busy. Good thing that there is the courtyard and other areas to dine in. Apart from this little issue, everything about the place is awesome. I like the look of the place. The counter and kitchen is located along a corridor that leads to the courtyard. All around the place you can see nostalgic items and it gives this place a very peculiar character and there is also a small art gallery within as well. Well, about the food then. I ordered the Moore's salmon and a large flat white. I must say that most of the menu were quite faded and I had a bit of trouble reading the small print. But the staff were friendly and answered smilingly when I asked about the item I was ordering. The menu isn't extensive so you are not agonising over what to order. When the meal came, it looked really appetizing as it should. The 2 turkish bread slices were thick and chewy, the salmon nicely done and the eggs were poached right. The cherry tomatoes were cold though and I would have preferred them warm. The flat white was great too. I enjoyed my breakfast there, maybe it was because there weren't many people around yet and that allowed me to be able to enjoy the atmosphere thoroughly while eating my delicious meal.

The pumpkin mash, burnt butter and sage with the Turkish toast was to die for, it was so good. I would definitely come back and reorder that dish. Would defiantly recommend you trying that plus it is super filling!!

Generally good food and very interesting decor but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The layout of the front counter is inefficient and frustrating and results in a 10-20 minutes wait-time just to make an order. The food was under-seasoned and there was little love on the plate but still tasted reasonably good. Overall, it wasn’t worth the trip to Fremantle but wasn’t a total waste of time.

Found this cafe to be something apart from all the other cafes that feel kind of the same. Interesting setting with different areas..as you enter the place it looks like a busy market lane but you realize it is all part of the cafe..they even have huge art gallery spaces, good for the little ones to walk around while you wait for the food. Tried Halloumi burger, biodynamic pancakes & Turmeric drink. All were delicious..the pancakes deserve an extra mention..the best Ive had in Perth, very fluffy & all the coconut and other organic ingredients just make the amazing. Service was friendly too. Would be back to try their other items.

An experience like no other. This place hosts an art gallery and is furnished with vintage knick knacks not seen in decades. Complimentary raw macadamia nut cracking was a fun delight whilst queing up to order. Admittedly, before arriving, I had a look at the menu and was a little skeptical about certain menu descriptions such as 'activated pecans'. I was truly hoping it wouldn't be just another hyped hipster joint, and yes I can say it wasn't! There was an extensive range of choices. I ordered the haloumi burger and honeycomb affagato. The portions were very generous, and high quality of the ingredients pulled through. Others at the table ordered the red velvet latte, pancakes and mushroom salad. Nothing disappointed. And don't be fooled by the exterior, despite the Fremantle location, it was very roomy inside. I was glad not to be knocking elbows or having to talk over other tables. This place earns it's stripes.

Such a nice spot in freo! Went here with my friend today and only left because she had to go. Staff are all so friendly and my food came within 5mins of ordering. Drinks were a little pricey but overall I will definitely be going back!!

Love this place. Although at first glance of the menu the options don't immediately blow you away, upon second glance you realise the quality and care that is taken is great. Service is really good, staff are quite friendly and helpful and the setting is gorgeous and very Freo with lots of personality, with a gallery and very cute courtyard. Lots of seating options. The prices are very reasonable for Perth, and the produce is top notch. Everything from the free range eggs, the local salt, the gorgeous breads - everything was fresh, full of flavour and cooked beautifully. The drinks were also lovely, and good value - I particularly thought my double shot, double scoop Honeycomb Affogatto for $5 was great value and delicious! It was a bit odd we had several staff to come and try to take our table number, or keep checking on us repeatedly but that was all done very politely and no issues. Benches were a tad uncomfortable but that's just nitpicking. It's a great spot and a great choice all round for Freo - love it!

I had the avocado for breakfast this morning which was light and fresh but my husbands mushrooms with bacon and creamed spinach and poached eggs were soooo good! Their chai is always a winner too and I love the play areas at both ends out the back.

A character place with some exhibitions going on. There are a few different dining areas, including inside and outside sitting. No table service and the floor staff would not care about the guests. Friendly service at the counter and a bit of pressure to order fast as far as usually there is a queue to order. Food is okay, carrot cake is delicious , I would personally reduce sugar level in it and in the cream. Love outside area with WiFi and a cute coffee cup fountain. Overall, worth a visit while in Freo, the place is quite unique. Hipster vibe :)

Pros: I love the feel of this place, a bit quirky and not your standard cafe space. The food wasn't bad (I had eggs on toast) but a) it only comes with 1.5 pieces of toast and b) I'm sure the menu said Turkish bread and it was definitely not Turkish bread. Price was reasonable (for Freo).<br/><br/>Cons: The service. My friend ordered avo on toast, minus the feta, as he's vegan. His food was delivered with a quip from the waiter "Here's your "vegan avocado"" with his fingers doing air quotes. My food came out a good 15 minutes after my friends. They also whisked away the container on our table with the serviettes and cutlery, before my food had even been delivered. I then had to ask for cutlery once my meal came, and the same waiter just dumped another container on our table- no apology.<br/><br/>The serving sizes were also quite small and I was still hungry after having my eggs and 1.5 slices of toast.<br/><br/>The attitude we copped from the waiter was completely uncalled for and is enough to put me off ever going back here.

The ambience is absolutely spot on .. it's like a hidden place in the heart of Freo. The place has an amazing charm.. it has seating style for all sort of familys couple kiddos .. you name it and there is space for everyone .. <br/><br/>We did brekky ... Banana pancake 5/5 hands down winner .. Potato Cake was amazing.. they put a red chutney/sauce sort of stuff .. that was a bomb it held the dish so well together any day I would order them without a second thought.. The Mexican brekky ... now that didn't tingle my tastebuds as expected.. Jalapenos were promised but where missing .. I couldn't find much zing in it..<br/>Obviously my accomplices where all over my plate to dissect and find if am right .. and yes hands down they said my palate has issues. <br/>Next the coffee and chai.. we tried flat white and it was a full 5/5 .. Chai Latte was the highlight reason everywhere we have been we get the standard chai latte powder mixed chai.. this had some real whole spices .. the taste was a bit light but it was really good... <br/><br/>We walked out with full bellys and an amazing smile .

love the farm to table concept. supports sustainable eating. which is totally what i believe in, no extremes.. just balance. i had pancakes (sauce on the side) it was amazing. so fluffy and soft. my partner had the chorizo eggs beans, he was so full after! that is definitely a good satisfying meal! also had a tumeric latte (recently addicted). general area is really nice, next to an art gallery and with rustic but cute furniture. outside area and inside.. plenty of seating. definitely one of my favorite freo cafes.

This is quite a tucked away cafe and we only came here for coffee and cake but the ambience, service and food do not disappoint! The coffee is perfectly brewed and creamy, just how I like it and I'll definitely come back for it. A few of my friends are gluten intolerant so it looks like they have quite a good range of cakes that catered to my friends and the honey cake (it is not gluten free) has to be my favourite! Their gluten free cakes also taste good and you won't think it is gluten free. Overall a good afternoon tea experience for sure.

This morning I went to Moore & Moore with a few girlfriends and I think it was pretty good (maybe not 4.2 good though).. The atmosphere is very cool and it's in a unique spot. It was quieter than expected for 8:30 on a Saturday morning. I ordered a soy latte and the coconut porridge (coconut poached oats, candied dukkah, blueberries, and coconut yoghurt $14.50). I quite enjoyed the porridge, it was subtle with no overpowering flavours. I would order it again. My friend on the other hand didn't enjoy her porridge, she said it was very bland.. she only ate a third of it. I suppose it comes down to how you like your porridge. We all enjoyed our coffees. I'd probably go back.

Great food that is reasonably priced for Fremantle, service was exceptional, I assume I was served by the owner (if not, a fantastic staff member), a smile and attention to detail go a long way these days and I was truly delighted with the service we received, good coffee ontop of that was a big plus! and lovely atmosphere, dining here is a must!

I had the potato cake, and while the cake itself was amazing, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and full of flavour, what was the biggest letdown, was the fact that one of my poached eggs had shell all over it! For something so easy, isn't great! So hence the average score. Coffee was really good but.

Thoroughly average. Don't be fooled by the rating. The menu is bland and the food likewise. Poached eggs were tough and pancakes overly smothered in a rich 'caramel' sauce. There are many amazing places just around the corner so save yourself the disappointment

Visited Moore & Moore today and was super impressed ! The vegan breakfast was absolutely delicious - probably one of the best I have ever had. The 3 meat eaters at my table enjoyed their breakfast too ! The avocado breakfast with a side of bacon was a real winner for them. Excellent coffee, friendly service and sweet live music for a Sunday breakfast definitely makes this a spot we will be frequenting ! Looking forward to coming back.

Ordered a take away today took ages to pack a salad. Was given the wrong order , had to go back after corrected the order was served a small portion but charged for a large one on enquiring the person just dumped in a few leaves and had my halad swim in the sauce, the eggplant was under cooked chewey tasteless, the staff more concerned about having a chat amongst themselves rather than pay attention and serve customers......horrible horrible experience not sure why is there such a rave about a place with expensive mediocre food, and lack of customer friendly atmosphere. .....wont go back there waste of money , had to go withoutlunch and spend some more money to buy something else

After seeing great reviews on Zomato and TripAdvisor, we finally visited Moore and Moore for brekky today morning!<br/>Ordered Moore's mushies and Pumpkin mash, honey cake along with Spiced Candied Ginger latte and Long Machiato topped up.<br/>Pumpkin mash was pretty good, nicely poached eggs that were still runny, good mix of walnuts, spinach & turkish bread.<br/>Moore's mushies were delicious with creamy mushrooms ragout, poached eggs, dill, spinach and toast. The toast did not have any garlic as mentioned in the menu - 'garlic toasted bread'.<br/>The latte and Machiato were nice and warm, well prepared by the barista. Honey cake was okay.<br/>Ambience outside where we sat was awesome with heaps of play area for kids. This makes it a good place to go for brunch if you have kids. From the entrance it was hard to guess if there was any space to sit with a pram. There is an arts class every Saturday and Sunday for the kids in the morning. Being fully packed on Sunday morning, the Service was still pretty good with courteous smiling wait staff. Toilets were clean. Good place to hang out for a relaxing brunch.<br/>Food 9/10<br/>Ambience 9/10<br/>Service 9/10<br/>Overall, good value for money.

This cafe has an awesome vibe. It opens up to an art gallery and has a relaxed feel. During the week, there are heaps of students from Notre Dame university so it's a pleasant young crowd (which makes me feel young lol). <br/><br/>The coffee is really good here...I haven't tried any of the food items but definitely go back there!

Can not rate the pumpkin mash enough was like a thick creamy pumpkin soup with eggs on top. Nice spot to bring kids with the play area out back

The staffs are friendly. The restaurant is beautiful, i love their interior design and they have a big place where you can choose to sit from the front to the backyard. I love their red velvet latte and french toast croissant.

The food is generally quite tasty (mushroom ragout breakfast a highlight, but bacon is sometimes a bit rubbery). This place is always packed for good reason. <br/><br/>Moore and Moore is lucky enough to be in a beautiful old building, but I wish they would do a deep clean every so often, sometimes the Freo hippy vibe is a bit too strong.

Really wanted to try this place for a long time, finally got the chance to with my mom. <br/><br/>It has several seating areas to choose, so you will be spoiled for choice. It has nice exposed bricks and decorated with up-cycled items. <br/><br/>I had the Moore's mushies. It's a VERY filling dish with loads of different mushrooms, spinach and bread. The palate started out very nice and creamy, but as the meal progressed, I found it difficult to take another bite of the mushroom mushies. I would recommend sharing it. <br/><br/>Nice place to relax, will definitely pop-by from time to time.

I almost don't want to give a review purely because I want to keep this hidden gem all to myself 😂😂<br/>It's really difficult to find a good place to go with kids. Moore and Moore hits the nail on the head - the atmosphere, the food and the play area. It's the first time my sister and I could go out for breakfast with 4 kids and actually eat our meal while it's hot!

Having recently had a raw food epiphany... This morning I cheated on 'South Beach Tacos' and came to 'Moore & Moore'. It's not the first time I've been here, but figured after the last time, which was somewhat disappointing, that I'd give them another go. The staff were friendly, covering the minimum interaction with customers, but with a smile. I ordered the vegan bircher muesli, a raw ball, and a candied ginger almond milk latte. The muesli ($12.50) was too small a serve for an adult, but very delicious. The candied orange slices were a nice touch and there was a hint of soured something (possibly strawberry juice, or aged kombucha???) that was an amazingly tangy twist and brought a smile to my whole body.<br/><br/>The raw ball ($4.50) was nice although I couldn't tell you what type I bought, but I do feel it was over priced.<br/><br/>And the latte ($4.50) was creamy, and a little sweet, but I couldn't make out the ginger... It was still excellent.<br/><br/>All up, for ~$20 it was a tasty snack in a good relaxing atmosphere.

Delicious coffee, yummy food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. This is one of my new faves. <br/>We came for breakki and coffee. Even though it was quite busy both coffees and food were made quickly. <br/>The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Great venue, service was speedy and has a nice vibe. Food was very gourmet, not for everyone, we had the pumpkin mash and the mushroom - very intense flavors and rich food. Kind of felt like there were eggs on a dinner meal.

Decided to give Moore & Moore a go because our other choice was closed and boy, what a good decision that was! It's such a lovely cafe with rustic and quirky decor but very welcoming. It's got a very relaxed atmosphere especially if you sit round the back garden. <br/><br/>The food is amazing. Everything we ordered was unique to this place and delicious. Every single poached egg was perfect - says a lot about the quality of cooking considering how crazy busy this place is. <br/><br/>We had the mushroom medley (which was one of my favorite things ever!), potato and Gouda cake, burger, bacon & eggs and the avocado & haloumi which had peas and olive tapenade. <br/><br/>You have to wait a while in line to order and pay but the food came in no time. Coffee was also pretty good. <br/><br/>Will definitely return the next time I'm in Freo. What a gem! <br/><br/>

Came here for breakfast this morning. For once the restaurant was not packed and we were actually able to fin a seat. It was fantastic. Soo cute and cozy. The food arrived before the coffees... but the wait was really not that long. Could not fault the food. Massive servings. The cooked food was actually hot. Delicious. Service fantastic also.

Quirky & interesting setting. Very relaxed & airy with indoor & outdoor seating available. Menu was interesting, extremely tasty & very fresh produce - potato cake with Gouda, mushroom ragout, avocado with olive & pea tapenade. I also appreciated the option to purchase hot lemon water, only $1.50

$ 5 for a normal size coffee which consisted of a extra fee for eftpos use. <br/><br/>On an earlier occasion this year was told muffins were $4 then ordered a savoury one but then that one was $4.50. <br/><br/>Funky setting but pricing or is it customer service ?? isn't simple and straight forward .

Came here for brunch, it's very quirky and has a lot of dining space. The porridge which was vegan was beautiful and plentiful, the almond croissant was delicious. The potato pancake was lovely and the Moore's mushrooms were good. The only downside was the chai, it lacked flavour which was disappointing. Overall good value for money and lots to choose from.

Had such a yummy croissant from here for brekkie! I ordered the almond croissant ($16) and it was fantastic! The croissant was nicely toasted with a rich frangipani filling. The only problem was there was not enough creme anglaise but that could just be me.

Came only for coffee and cake but was not dissapointed! Had frangipani tart and a red velvet latte.. did not feel sick from a sugar crash as i usually do after coffee and cake which was nice. Will be back to try their proper food.

Like just absolutely loved this place. I had the vegan breakkie and was in absolute heaven. It tasted absolutely amazing. The vibe is totally chill and really different; coffee was beautiful and the staff were sweet and made the time to check in on you even though it was super busy! <br/>Only problem we had was finding a table!

The pros of Moore and Moore: yummy food <br/>Cons: portion size is small and pricey because of that. <br/>I like their chai tea<br/>I hope the portion size will increase because i just cant get enough of the food.

Very few people would disagree that Fremantle is bursting at the seams with gorgeous scenery and inviting eateries. My recent trip to Moore and Moore was spurned by the need for a long drive and cup of coffee after school drop off.

Nice funky place for breakfast in open courtyard. Coffee good. Wouldn't mind a breakfast tasting plate on the menu. Reasonably priced. Will visit soon for lunch.

Very yummy food and lovely place for brunch! Had Salmon, mushroom and almond croissant dishes! All were made really well and tasted delicious! Definitely will go back when I'm in Freo :) There's a gallery there which was really cool and even live band playing in a corner :) very nice!

Stopped in for a very lovely breakfast. Serving fresh and tasty meals from a very interesting and very cool building. A little on the pricier side of things for what the food that they serve but not overly so. The dishes are imaginative without going too overboard and forgetting that they are supposed to be breakfast.<br/><br/>Those with a long beard, tight jeans and a fixie will feel most at home but the rest of us will enjoy it as well!

Dropped in for a late lunch. My partner was very happy with her potato cakes and my Vietnamese pulled beef burger was quite tasty but bok choy is not good served raw. Coffee good and service prompt and cheerful. Would rate it higher if the cabbage was cooked. <br/>

Had brunch at Moore & Moore today. Love the atmosphere and the coziness that this cafe offered especially during a cold winter morning. <br/>We had the cured salmon and the pumpkin mash with added bacons on top of it. Both dishes were delicious especially the pumpkin mash was absolutely spot on for me. I like my poached eggs to be a firm white and a good gooey yet runny egg yolk. It was a bit disappointing that the poached eggs on both dishes were hard , more like a boiled eggs instead. We tried the dirty filthy chai latte, it was an interesting taste, don't think it is something that I will like to have next time. <br/>

The atmosphere here is amazing, cosy rustic feel with both indoor and outdoor dining. I like how the Cafe spreads through different areas of the lane way and even into the next door gallery. Limited menu so this usually means good specialised food. We had the Grilled Fish (they don't do the nori roll anymore) and Moore's Mushies. The fish dish was so salty - every component! It's a shame because the flavours were really good otherwise, especially if you love wasabi mayo. Also saddened by the fact there were only 2 small bits of fish fillet on the dish, it's mostly baby leek. The mushies was more like a mushroom soup, wish the sauce was thicker so that the toasted bread could pick up the beautiful sauce. Was a nice dish otherwise. Good coffee, the dirty filthy Chai latte was something a bit different. Also the honeycomb affogato was yum. Decent food, nice venue, but not somewhere I'll rush to come back.

Amazing value for the freshness and variety you get. Breakfast deal was a killer, coffee was nice and cakes aplenty. Perhaps the service needs a wee bit of an improvement? Otherwise this place is tops in my book :)

Close to a perfection in terms of hanging out and drinking coffee. Great place and good smiling service. A must go place. The down side would be parking which is quite a pain during busy seasons.

The cutest little spot in Fremantle! The food was Really good and came out very fast. It was a bit on the pricey side but worth it for the service and quality of food. The venue itself is Really cute. And when your done with your meal you can wonder into the art gallery. There was also a live jazz band which made the atmosphere. <br/>
