Backyard Barbeque

Small place. Cute but simple decor. Could use a few repairs though. The booth we sat at had a hole in the top of the table. Bathroom was super clean! (Very important to me) Server was bomb!💣 very knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, and not overbearing. Food was good for the most part and portioned correctly. The lemon pepper wings were SO flavorful! Legit best LP wings I’ve ever had. My only food critiques are the potato salad texture was too mushy for my liking, like mashed potatoes, I prefer a chunkier salad. The collard greens were fresh but needed a little sugar to cut the bitterness of the greens, oil, smoked turkey, garlic, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and to be cooked down for about 10–15 more minutes. The Mac and cheese 🧀 was not good…at all. It was giving blue box vibes and it is not baked. They need an entire new recipe for that ASAP. Everything else pictured was on point including the drinks (they serve alcohol). FYI- gratuity of 18% is automatically included but I didn’t mind that at all because the service was good. In fact I gave an extra tip on top of that just because of the service. I would visit again. Give them a try!

Wow. Can't believe this has literally been in my backyard since 2018 and I've never been here. We wanted BBQ and talked ourselves out of driving to Queens and instead came here. We were pleasantly delighted by the food, drinks and, most of all, service. We had the ribs, pulled pork, lemon pepper honey wings, fried shrimp complemented by Mac and cheese (possibly the best I've ever had at a restaurant), collard greens, yams and potato salad. Everything was fresh and delicious with great sized portions. Kenny, one of the co-owners and Cidney our bartender, was very friendly and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Can't wait to come back for brunch with our crew. Much success to this BOB!

Great food and service. I had a full rack of ribs, cole slaw, and mash potatoes. The portions were pretty big. I could barely finish half of anything and brought everything home. My daughter had BBQ wings and seasoned fries and was very happy. The corn bread could be a little sweeter, but all in all the food was delicious. Definitely will be back again to try the other things on the menu.

We felt very much welcomed when we came in today. We came all the way from Brooklyn because we went to the 2023 Rock the Bells festival. We saw they had a stand there, but the line was too long, so we drove out today. Today was Sunday, so it was brunch will come when it is their regular menu and review again. Chicken and waffles were delicious. Didn't even need syrup. Chicken had the right amount of crispness. Cheese grits were good. Fish and shrimp 🍤 😋 were seasoned, well, just a little salty. Wish they had sweet tea, but the lemonade was good.
