Tthe Mustard Seed

This little gem is worth the stop in or regular visit. Passing through with the family on the way to Niagara Falls we stopped in for lunch. The lunch special of a turkey wrap, kids menu spaghetti with meatball, beef on wick, and Rujun Cajun were all amazing. The food exceeded expectations and the waitress, Ashley was the sweetest. Even though she didn’t have Midwest sweet tea she introduced us to “Buffalo Juice” or as more commonly known as “Logan Berry”. It’s hard to describe, but it was 100% worth the try. She even sent us on the road with some to-go cups! Also don’t leave the mustard seed without trying to sweet fry sauce. It’s amazing. Overall cute diner, sweet staff, and great food!!

This place was sooooo good! Such a lovely vibe, almost like a home feel. The decorations are so cute! Lots of homemade food here, real ingredients that you can feel good about. Everything was tasty, the menu offered a good variety of choices! The dessert was delicious and I believe homemade as well, since they do have a bakery inside the restaurant too! Waitstaff was very friendly. I will definitely stop here again if I am in the area!

I went this weekend for the first time and absolutely LOVED IT!! I met my mom for lunch here and the food was absolutely delicious and fresh! I will absolutely come back. I’m in town for work and was happy to find a cute local place to support. I ordered the French onion soup, Cajun haddock dinner, and a slice of eggnog cake. I was disappointed that they forgot the macaroni salad and pineapple coleslaw which came with the haddock (to go order). But everything else was so delicious so I can’t be that upset. Highly recommend the soup and cake!

My group of 4 enjoyed an excellent dinner at The Mustard Seed tonight! They were pretty busy and had a short wait as most tables were reserved. In the future I will make reservations! Staff was friendly and prompt even for as busy as it was. Artichoke dip was very good with fresh made seasoned pita chips that were good on their own! Food was served promptly and timed out well to enjoy appetizer, soup,(French onion 👍) and finally our entrees. Lively atmosphere, and most importantly: QUALITY fresh made food!!!

My husband and I had gone to the old location multiple times, but tonight we went to the new location for the first time with our 8 month old. I called ahead as I have quiet a few dietary restrictions and was assured I would have many items I could still eat (I also made a reservation). When we arrived our waitress informed us that she had gone through with the kitchen staff and found out exactly what I could have. She was more than happy to confirm with the kitchen that the steak was something I was able to have. She also expressed that she had a friend with similar eating restrictions which gave me comfort. Both my husband and I found our meals absolutely delicious and very filling! On our way out we also spoke with a gentleman who mentioned his wife also has similar dietary restrictions and he knows how difficult it can be to eat out and that’s why they make their experience so allergy friendly ❤️ They also had a very clean changing station in the restroom to change my baby! I cannot rave about the Mustard Seed enough!
