Great place! Worth a visit but make sure you book in advance for dinner. It is very popular and gets busy. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Plenty of food to choose from and the desserts were absolutely delicious. Good portion of food and fair prices. Oh and the background music was very enjoyable!

Dropped in for lunch, had the fish and chips they were very good, nice crisp batter on the fish, the mushy peas were lightly minted to just the right amount and the chips were also good. The other dishes we saw all looked good. The only reason I didn't give 5 for atmosphere is due to the door being open it was a little on the cool side, but I would certainly eat here again.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the very best food & service I've ever had in my life!
Honestly, this place is unreal. The surf & turf is 10/10 and the beef short-rib 11/10.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made us a table even though they were fully booked. So glad and thankful they did, the whole experience was legendary. Thank you!!!

We first came to this restaurant in the first few weeks it opened many, many years ago. It's lost absolutely none of its charm since. Great, tasty, reliable food and decent value. Every time I come, I tell myself I'll have something different but every time I end up with the blue cheese Samburger deluxe. Smashing. (Everyone else in our party is more creative, so I can vouch for the quality of their food too!)

Great music and service. Food was really good. Had the Deluxe Feast for 2 which all components tasty and cooked well. Condiments were excellent. One of our kids wanted Nachos as a starter. They charged for a mains £16.50 for some doritos! Should have checked the bill before we paid.

What a fantastic restaurant. Excellent service from Ed and his team, unbelievably good food and all in a fantastic atmosphere. Try the Artery Blocker but make sure you've got friends with you.

Wow what a fantastic place the food was heaven and Edd made us feel so welcome and was kind to our dog the food was the best valve for money and I would have paid more it was exceptional thank you , we loved it so much we then went to sam’s on the beach and that was just as awesome

During our day out in Fowey we hadn’t anything booked and were looking for somewhere to dine.
I spoke with Ed and he couldn’t have been more accommodating and arranged for us to dine outside in a lovely private terraced space. The food was excellent and the service was second-to-none. I would give this place, and the staff that attended us that evening, 6 stars if I could.
Definitely recommend Sam’s, the menu is varied and the offerings are delightful. This is a must go to and we will definitely revisit when we are back in the area. Thank you Ed for excellent customer service… 👏👏👏
